GBHorrible company Horrible company. Salesmen promise and then installers are incompetent. Alarm did not work after install. Called and no replies. Had another company come in and replace. I trusted talking to owner was good for cancellation. He is shady and poor excuse for a human. I am now stuck in a 42 month contract. Thats OK. I will cost them customers as much a possible. RUN FROM NORTHSTAR AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

GBWould give a 1/2 star if possible If I could give a 1/2 star, I would. I had a horrible experience with North Star. When I called to cancel, I was told I was locked into another 18 months after already completing 5 years with such a heartless company. They give you a long contract then do not contact you when your contract is ending. The contract is automatically renewed from a contract signed FIVE years ago. The representative attempted to "drop my rate" yet increase my time. I am leaving this company at the first opportunity. They should lose any lawsuit against them. Extremely horrible customer service. Expensive service. Long contract terms. Worst company I've ever done business with. Stay FAR away!

GBNever sign with NorthStar We were not told we were signing a 5 year contract, something we NEVER have/would have done for something other than something like a car loan. Poor quality and workmanship, so much so that we barely even used the system before we gave up as even after being “repaired” multiple times, it never worked We are imprisoned by the company and cannot get out of our contract even tho we moved 3 years ago and are renting the home Rude employees Overpriced Overall, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any company. GBNorthStar Horrible Customer Service My family (my mother) has been stuck with these people since June 2015. They automatically extend the contract 18 months and won't let you cancel it. Since the account was in my mother's name and she passed away, Northstar added my name to the account without any documentation, so it couldn't be cancelled. The hardware was run through a landline which was disconnected last summer. NorthStar is not interested in the customer having updated equipment either. The current equipment is 7 years old and beeps because ATT removed 3G towers. There is no monitoring as the equimpent is no longer receiving a signal. NorthStar is only interested in collecting their money from customers. All around NOT NICE OR PROFESSIONAL people. The word fraud comes to mind.

GBHorrible technology for 2020 Horrible technology for 2020. Horrible customer service. They provide poor service for what they are paid for. Doorbell camera hasn't worked in over a year. The garage camera won't pick up motion. My trail cam beside it picks up 20x what this camera picks up. Customer service gets you nowhere when you call. Stay the h*** away from Northstar Security.
