Good Flooring company We have used Mercer/Carpet One for two flooring jobs in our home. Budget-wise, I believe they are slightly above average. Once the job is scheduled, their installers do a very good job. I am still not enamored with the transition areas from the Hardwoods job we had done, into the carpeted areas. Also, if you have a repair request, they can be a little slow in response.

a long distance experience I needed carpeting in my newly purchased condo in MD before moving in from Ohio. Katlin was extremely helpful, and professional....directed me to a local store to choose carpeting and color, and took care of all of the many details on her end to order, deliver and install on time before the big move. My daughter in law also worked with Katlin in Md to give access to the condo for the work....and she too was impressed with the workers, the completed product and the speed with which they installed the carpeting.....and we love how it looks!! A big shout-out to a wonderful team!!

Sales and service was excellent but floor installer was somewhat difficult to work with. Floor installer was somewhat difficult to work with. Always seemed in a rush and spent a lot of time running in and out of the house on the phone. He used the wrong color grout after being question about it and showing the order. Mercer was great about scheduling re-grout with correct color. I'm not thrilled with the floor tile. It looks wonderful, but seems delicate. Pattern is on surface (doesn't go all the way through tile). Sliding chairs around kitchen table has scraped surface of tile and white under-layer showed through. Mercer was very good about replacing tiles and supplying chair slides. Problem was the chair slides provided were just like the ones I already had on the chair legs. The vinyl/plastic slides seem to get rough/scared by grit/dirt that accumulates on floor and then scratch the tile when chairs are pulled out or pushed under the table. Floor is frequently vacuumed and damp-mopped making it not very easy to maintain. I have since gone to felt pads on chair legs but have to keep replacing them since they don't stay attached very long. I am completely satisfied with the ceramic tile that was installed on wall above counter top.

Very Helpful and Knowledgeable My wife and I shopped around multiple stores looking at different carpets. When we walked into Mercer, Matt immediately helped us. He knows what he is talking about and walked us through the different options, and what the actual differences in the carpets are. They were very responsiveness throughout the whole process and had reasonable prices.

Hands down the BEST! Amazing company and service. Product selection is like no other and the amount of knowledge and professionalism that each employee has is incredible. This company is truly outstanding!
