At first they seemed legit At first they seemed legit - not brokers. We had no furniture just boxes, storage unit, a couple chairs & beds. When we got to storage unit the packer asked us if we had a tool chest & did it have tools in it. We said yes but it’s on wheels. They loaded everything & charged us to put our boxes in wardrobe boxes. Ended up doubling our quote. Then they took everything to a “safe” storage unit in Kent wa for 3 days. I watched with my tracker I put in a box - things were being moved around in storage. Finally get to our house a week later & no one shows to help semi driver unload - we had to unpack the truck with him. I called about this & FCM got mad at me - yelling & calling me names. Finally unpack what was delivered to find tool chest & all tools were gone. All my husbands clothes were gone. Every Seahawks signed memorabilia was gone but they left the display cases they were in. Only 7 of the 10 wardrobe boxes we paid for was delivered. No numbers to check off as they came off truck - also couldn’t because we were unloading the truck! They didn’t offer any other insurance other than 60 cents a lb. Now one of their workers is well dressed with a LOT tools & we’ll get nothing. do not accept theirb list of items - if it says box #122 they wont pay for anything in it. make them list out every item our problem was trusting this company & their workers. What a scam!!

Movers were great Movers were great, friendly and careful. Everything went smoothly all the way from pickup in Chicago to drop off in Los Angeles. Sergio and his crew went an extra mile and did a great job wrapping my furniture for extra protection. As a result I didn't find a single scratch when they were done. I guess you get what you pay for. Thank you Elizabeth for setting up my move so quickly and squeezing it in your schedule last minute! I know it's busy (no other company was ready to take us on such a short notice) and I am thankful for all your help!

Sergio and the team at First Class… Sergio and the team at First Class Movers were exceptional. Dana's customer service was top-notch. They handled our long-distance move with care and efficiency. I highly recommend their services. Sergio's exceptional leadership and the professionalism of his team were evident throughout our move. They showed great care in handling our possessions, and their efficiency was impressive. Dana's customer service was top-notch, as she kept us informed and addressed any concerns we had. Our long-distance move was stress-free, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend First Class Movers to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy moving company.

Zero Communication If There Are Issues Communication at the beginning—from getting a quote to scheduling pickup—was good. Not excellent, there were times we reached out to confirm date/time and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Pickup was in time. Movers doubled the cost from the over the phone quote, but at that point we had no choice but to proceed. We had very few furniture pieces (2 desks, a bookcase, a dresser, large cat tree) and the rest was boxes. Movers were quick, but not particularly careful. Taking boxes out of the hallway, they tore out a flooring transition piece, said nothing to me, and put it in the closet. Delivery was where it really went sideways. When we booked them, we were assured they don’t broker out moves, it was all handled by them and our Seattle to LA move was a frequented route for them. They delivered within their estimated window, but the original calls assured us it would likely be 5 days earlier than when they finally arrived. All communication via email to keep us updated on delivery date listed First Class Movers. Movers show up, and can’t take the money order because we made it out to First Class Movers and they were a different moving company. Tried calling original contact to make sure this was legit, no answer. Delivery was 2 men who seemed ill equipped and were stacking heavy boxes on top of “glass” “fragile” in the street. Boxes were also very beat up on delivery, some with holes, collapsing, etc. This shows that even though I marked boxes “heavy” or “fragile” their priority was to stack boxes high and overload the boxes rather than ensure items made it safely. Boxes were tagged with numbered labels when they were picked up but many of these labels fell off during transit so it’s impossible to check off all the boxes on delivery. Ultimately, we are missing at least 7 boxes now that we have unpacked. We have tried to reach out via phone, text and email in the hopes someone could attempt to track down our missing boxes and have received zero response. Also important to note that at no point did the person over the phone address insurance or adding additional coverage for the move, which means filing a claim if successful results in $0.60 per pound of missing stuff. But the charge by cubic feet, not weight, so there’s no way to verify the weight they took compared to the weight they delivered. We’re missing four boxes of books, a box of kitchen supplies and two boxes of makeup/toiletries and are looking at over $3500 of missing items that we may be eligible to recover about $150 of. And again, once they have your stuff and your money, communication plummets and then ceases completely. This was my first time hiring movers for an out of state move and it has soured me on doing it again. Even trying to make the move as uncomplicated as possible by bringing very little furniture and having it all in boxes didn’t work.

Scamo Quoted me one price and raised it $800.00 as soon as they got my deposit. That's how they operate. These losers are very nice until they get your deposit. Then they are rude and unresponsive / confrontational to questions and problems. And don't believe the 5 star reviews. "They just ain't real." "They went the extra mile" Nope they didn't... Only one guy showed up to move my stuff inside. I had to help. They were all experienced." Nope and only one spoke English. Broke my stuff and said I'd hafto file a claim. "They handled with responsiveness to our various calls questions and special requirements." Nope, they don't... People don't talk like that unless they're writing fake reviews. "skilled, professional, polite, funny, and personable crew!!" Do you mean the ones' who couldn't even speak English? Even the business' reply's are bogus "Dear Joe, We're truly grateful for your glowing review of First Class Movers." They are a scam. Here's how the scam works and it's simple. Be nice and collect your $450.00 deposit. They use weird payment methods like Venmo and Paypal or Zell... That's fishy. Next call is rude and confrontational... so you decide to cancel because they're D-Bags. They'll try to keep your deposit and make money with very little effort. If this happens to you sue them, report them. Bottom line is they have way too many perfectly worded 5 star reviews to be real and legit. And way too many 1 stars to not be fishy. There are No 2 star, No 3 Star, & No 4 star reviews... That's a red flag, people! Don't fall for it. Get references and call your BBB.
