overcharged I paid them by cash but they also charged my credit card. I followed up my case several times with phone and email but no response. Then, I received a letter from collection company to be charged for $327+ collection fee for this case. I called and emailed the company several times with no response at all. The collection company sent me the contract with signature which wasn't mine even the date of signature was wrong. I had to pay it to not affect on my credit score but I will follow up this case with small court.

Taken Advantage Of/Scammed Best Fit Movers/Best Bet Movers is the same company. I used Best Fit Movers for my Saturday, 8am move. I had 3 men to move a complete Queen bedroom set, 2 queen mattresses, 2 queen box springs, a glass China cabinet, a dining room set, a glass fireplace and about 25 boxes. The move could have and should have been completed in the minimum 3 hour timeframe, but when we approached the first hour and a half instead of loading the China cabinet and fireplace so we could head over to the new place, the 3 men decided they needed a break. They kept taking several breaks and no one would answer the phone at the office. After everything was finally loaded up 3hrs later, a 10 minute drive, turned into me waiting an hour and a half at the new place for the movers. Calling the office was useless, because the two young girls didn’t have a clue & 1 sounded like she was having sex. There was no management at the office that Saturday. The men finally arrived, upset that I called the office. Stating they took a lunch break. How do you take a lunch break when you are charging someone by the hour? Why didn’t he inform me? So they began carrying my belongings up the stairs to the new place and the little young boy, Geraldo kept dropping different pieces of my furniture, damaging/breaking my property. Long story short, a simple 3hr moved turned into a 7hr move and I was helping with the lifting and carrying, some of my furniture and belongings ended up damaged and broken, and to add insult on top of everything else Franc, Brian and Geraldo scammed me! Because I couldn’t see what I was signing on the little phone, Franc acted like he was talking to the office and they were telling him to tell me when to sign and what I was signing. I ended up giving them $800 in cash, not including the $100 I had already paid to book my move. I was not given a receipt. The next day, Easter Sunday, I happened to check my email and saw that the movers put down I paid them $700 in cash, which was a lie. I called the office furious. Of course no one was there to help me, so I emailed the Manager, Juliana a more detailed enactment of the day and included pictures. She had a gentleman call me the next day, who quickly said, “I can’t give you back more than $200”, because it’s only .60 per pound. If he would have really looked at those pictures my move should have been free or charged me the minimum 3hr for $424, because that is all my move took, the rest of the time was their movers messing around. The fact that their movers lied to me about the amount, and stole from their company is horrible. I felt they were scamming me, but I knew if I didn’t pay them, it would be a problem. So I paid them what they asked for knowing I was calling the office Monday to make a complaint. I will never use this company or any company affiliated with them again. I feel more could have been done for me considering my furniture that was damaged was new furniture. I am writing this review to make others aware, especially since my coworker was considering using this company for her move.

Best Fit Movers (USDOT # 3051481)… Best Fit Movers (USDOT # 3051481) provides horrendous customer service, lies to you, never calls you back, and hold your items in order to extory you of more money. They broke their contractual obligations on delivery timelines to me causing me to incur costs to house my family while they withheld my belongings. And they owe my $4983 in a refund that is now 8+ business days past the date they delivered all my belongings. Here’s a list of grievances including how the extorted me paying more than I should have, and how I had to pay via credit card when they agreed to invoiced ACH payment (which caused me a 10% credit processing fee) They missed my contractually agreed upon delivery date of June 11th. Their sales manager confirmed on Friday the 10th that all required payments had been received and the truck drivers were on time for a delivery on Saturday the 11th between 8-10am. They never arrived, and after 6 phone calls from me to their dispatch manager, he informed me payment hadn't been received and they never sent the trucks. The sales manager lied to me. Roberto agreed to send the trucks after understanding I was paying via ACH had already processed the ACH payment on Friday for $4983 When they arrived Tuesday, dispatch wouldn’t let them drive to the house because the ACH hadn’t cleared yet. It was 3 business days post processing and takes up to 5. I had no other invoices to approve and didn’t have a way to pay anything else. He explained that I had to now pay in full my entire cost of the move. My contract stipulated I only owed half upfront and the 2nd half post unloading. He also said I was no longer allowed to pay via credit card and must pay via cashiers check, again breaking my contract. I was able to find an invoice on their website that was wrong but let me pay most of the amount via credit card. After I paid it Roberto in dispatch then confirmed it would be acceptable. However, prior to me finding that option on my own, he refused to accept a credit card payment from me when I was pleading to do so in order to have the drivers released to unload. Except that I was forced to pay the full $27106 even though I had already paid $4983 that was already in process with the bank. After calling Sales mgmt and explaining the issue post ny move, I’ve been told now that they need to clear with their supervisor. This was Monday June 20th because the sales manager, who I was told by dispatch “the only one that can approve payments” was on vacation. It’s now Thursday 23rd and they only returned my text because I threatened to sue them. So I’ve paid $32,089 when I only owed $27,106 bringing a refund owed of $4983. Except now they’re saying I’m only owed $2600 with no explanation of their math. They also owe me money for items not delivered after they were confirmed packed & loaded from my departure. And they damaged items that need to be replaced via insurance. Only after threatening to sue did they let me know the process for filing a claim. Lastly, they arrived in trucks that did not have driving lights or taillights. The drivers complained to me that their management forced them to drive trucks that don't pass legal safety inspections (turn and brake lights not working, broken seat belts, etc.)
