GBWhen we checked in to our new storage… When we checked in to our new storage unit we discovered that although it was listed as having power, it did not have any lights. Federal apologized for the mistake and offered to knock $20 per month off the rent. I felt that was extremely fair. Even without the reduction, their prices are better than any other facility around and it is a very nice facility with a good location.

GBauction buyers beware Bought and paid for an auction unit and drove over 100 miles to get there and the gate code did not work. Called and waited and waited to report to their “customer service” and she said that was the correct code and that she would report it. I had to go back the next day to finish cleaning the unit and the gate code still did not work. Again called and never got ahold of a person and automatically went to voicemail and no return call. Both times had to wait for someone to exit to be able to get in through the gate to get to the unit. Then when using their website per their request to submit a photo of the cleaned out unit the Submit button would not work. Tried two devices with the same result. Unreliable from my experience and felt very disrespected and that as an auction buyer just not important to them They did not do their part but I did mine in spite of their failure. Will not do business with this company again. Can’t get ahold of anyone to truly help.

GBThousands of dollars gone but the real damage cannot be quantified. Trully horrible experience. This is a foul unethical company that exploits their customers at every opportunity. After moving my stuff in and leaving the area, my rent increased incrementally until I was paying 3x what I had initially agreed to. I eventually had to drive back across the country to clear out the unit because the cost was so insanely high for a very tiny unit. When I arrived, I found my lock had been changed, items were missing, there was rat poop all over the place, AND my vintage clothes collection was completely infested with moths.... an issue I am still dealing with months later... They also go to great effort to try to hide reviews and make it very difficult to file a claim.... So the additional thousands of dollars I spent on full coverage insurance was just more money unnessisarilly spent. Thousands of dollars gone but the real damage cannot be quantified.

GBMy 10Federal experience Although this was a new experience where the facility is unmanned, I was still able to get what I needed. The live reps over the phone were awesome at getting the job done and being sure I had what I needed. The were polite and patient. And when I encountered a problem with the unit they stayed on the line until resolved. Sure better experience from the last place I had. I’d recommend 10 Federal to anyone any day. Thanks 10Federal.

GBWhat a horrible company What a horrible company. I don't know how these ppl sleep at night stealing people's belongings who want to and are willing to pay their bills. My father passed away and I'm trying to pay and clean out his storage units but they refuse to take my payment and will sell my great grandmother's family heirlooms. Who refuses money?! They sure took the payment from me last month. This is a ridiculous company policy that they definitely choose over common sense. My father has rented these units for 20 YEARS, but I guess that's just not enough profit.
