My Experience with Amazon Publishing Network My name is Betty Bockoras. My Friend, Nora Brickell Wilson and I worked together in writing the true story titled, "Mama's Gift." After we finished, I was faced with the problem of where to get it published. Then someone referred me to Amazon Publishing Network. Problem solved! Still, I proceeded carefully. I had been taken advantage of by a previous publishing company with a different book. They had charged me ten times what Amazon was charging - and with poor results. But Amazon proved to be the real thing! They assigned me a Project Manager named Mark Bennett to work with me. He was very patient and kind as he answered all my questions, and there were many. First he guided me through the cover and then the story, with nine pictures inserted. I am very pleased with the finished book, which is now for sale on Amazon.com, both paperback and eBook.

Self-publishing simplified Self-publishing can be daunting at best, frustrating and upsetting at worst. However, if fortunate enough to work with Chris Walter, it is simple, fully explained, straightforward, and a pleasure.
