GBSave yourself some headache!! I was happy to use it when it came out first, but since then it is just going downhill...products which are supposed to be variants are becoming standalone ones, product tracking not working, inaccurate inventory levels and so on. Can't handle big volumes of input, becomes sluggish and unresponsive, parking and reopening sales is a nightmare, surely there is a better way than this. The support is useless and i gave up a long time ago trying to get something fixed...avoid avoid avoid!!

NZThe product itself is decent but that's… The product itself is decent but that's where it ends. Support is limited to emails only or some sort of chat that isn't chat (there is nobody there). Add to that their unwillingness to fix issues. If you want to upload csv's you need to use Open Office instead of Excel as they are unable to decode Excel csv's. Unbelievable.

ZAVend is a basic POS system Vend is a basic POS system for its price. Here are some of my comments: 1) They do not allow scanning of Supplier EAN/UPC barcodes (ex. If you sell a CocaCola soda can, then you cannot scan the barcode already on the can and Vend forces you to print a new barcode label for the can... makes no sense!) 2) Very limited receipt / invoice customisations 3) Has no ability to issue quotes 4) Limited reporting abilities 5) Product import abilities are limited and sometimes confusing 6) Does not allow you to add product images to each SKU 7) Vend works mainly off the Product Name and not the SKU as many POS systems do

NZThe system cant seem to handle… The system cant seem to handle different retails prices that link through to product price barcodes. We are an outlet store for various brands and so we quite often have skus well below RRP. I would think many retailers would be in a similar position? They have been looking at an update for it for the last few years ie it isnot a priority apparently.

AETotally irresponsible Lightspeed. Since my last post on 31st Jan, Nothing, Nothing has been done!! Got an email on 23rd Feb stating that the job had been done. However, I found that it was just not true! Got an amazing reply from Lightspeed: (one would think the engineers who worked there knew the importance of testing and then certifying the job as done) Lightspeed reply: Now we discovered that the fix works only on the first print (right after the sale is completed on the sell screen), however, the reprints are showing net figures again: Below is my post about a problem from November 2023 and as on 25th February, it still is serious enough for us to have got a warning from the Department of Economic Affairs Dubai UAE, on incorrect invoices being issued. My original post: Lightspeed is not good for Tax inclusive Stores. The subtotals displayed are wrong. This was acknowledged by Lightspeed person and raised a complaint in November. Till date nothing!! I was told that the development team will do so if they find it necessary. How much more ridiculous can one get? EG : Total Gross sale is 1390. VAT @5% is 66.19. Discount is 278 (gross). Subtotal shown by Lightspeed Vend is 1337.05. WHY?? Either show 1323.81 and below that the discount 264.76 (net figures) or show 1390 discount 278. Show VAT @ 52.95. Gross payable @ 1112.00
