Poor customer service I changed my checking account, though I forgot to change the information for auto pay on my credit cards. So all my payment returned. The interesting section of this story was that all credit cards waive "RETURNED PAYMENT FEE" except Deserve. I called Deserve customer service multiple times but they cared about my case unprofessionally and never waived my first returned fee. After that, I barely used my Deserve card and prefer to use my other credit cards that value their customers.

I am using deserve credit card from… I am using deserve credit card from last one year..they didn't increase my credit limit.. they increase the limit after one year which is very bad because i regularly used card and paid before the time and i not have any penalties....i have call several time to increase my limit...the customer service is not good...

A great card for students to start… A great card for students to start building credit! This card is pretty cool to start with if you don't have a credit history. You don't need to pay a deposit, it has rewards on every purchase and no annual fees. It also includes Amazon Prime Student for a year and cell phone protection. They doubled my credit line after just 3 months of use! On the other side, I've found the mobile app glitchy at times and the website outdated (once you login). It only reports to two of the three major credit bureaus (according to NerdWallet) and it's not well supported among finance apps like NerdWallet and Mint. Overall, I like this card.

Great starter card Great starter card. I am a college student with zero credit history. I applied for a few cards before I head about education cards for students like myself. I wanted one that had ok benefits, but more than anything, wasn't going to take my money. This card gives me 1% cash back with zero monthly/annual fees. It also sends frequent reminders letting me know my payment is due soon/has been received, etc. After one year of use, I have no complaints and I recommended it to my siblings. App is a little janky, but nothing you can't figure out. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Payments processing It will be a great choice to opt for this card, for those who just start building a credit history, especially International Students. All great except that it might need little update with the card payments processing. Like, if card payments gets processed and account reflect with updated balance instantly or at max in a business day.
