GBThere is absolutely no way to speak to… ***update*** I have now canceled my accounts, which btw, you still have to go through chat. First, with a "regular" representative, then get chat transferred to a retention chat representative lol. Unbelievable.*** There is absolutely no way to speak to a person on the phone anymore. Everything from identity theft to disputes requires you to go on the app and use live chat, which they don't know much of anything. Varo didn't use to be like this. I've been with them for years. For now, I'll keep the account, but I have 3 other bank accounts, so it won't be used. Only because I don't feel like going through chat again after spending 45 minutes to get nowhere with my question. How useful is a bank when you can't reach anyone?

GBNot a Good Online Bank to use Been with the bank for two years and nothing is consistant. My deposit is nerver the deposited in my account at the same time each deposit. the websit always down due to technical issues. They put you on a waiting list for an Advanced. I been depositing over $1,000.00 dollar in my account from my job every month only for them to offer me a $432 advanced and payed it back on time only for them to drop me back to a $100 after I paid it back on time. You can never talk to an live agent.you just get the run around. And please don't think they go up your advance and you get the same amount every time no matter if you meet their requirements or not.

GBVaro has been great Varo has been great! It's a"REAL," Bank that offers a "REAL," Checking/Savings Account, unlike what other consumers believe. Do your research! It offers online banking at it's finest, in my opinion! Give it a try. I believe the fact that you can load money into it most just believe that it's a pre-paid card. It is not. That is just one of the features that is available. 😊

GBCompletely unhelpful Received a debit card in the mail that I did not apply for. There is no way to contact customer service other than email. I tried calling several times only to constantly be dealing with an automated menu with unhelpful options and computer automated explanations. There is no phone number on the back of the debit card. This bank seems anything but legit.

GBThe customer service is nonexistent The customer service is nonexistent. If you don’t have the app from other reviews, I’ve read the app assistance doesn’t even work. I wouldn’t know I can’t even get an agent on the phone while I review my account for signing up. I definitely won’t be using this bank for any actual use moving forward, I’ll probably just leave it as a background account open for no apparent reason And caution any new customers from opening an account with people who don’t answer the phone
