Recently got a car loan thru Golden… Recently got a car loan thru Golden One. However I have not been able to link to my Fidelity accounts in order to make a payment. Called Fidelity who told me the routing number is being rejected. Called Golden One and no one there seems to know anything about how ETF works. Then tried the reverse and link from G1 to Fidelity. Was able to validate the link via test deposits - but when I try to transfer funds it gives an error. They really don't want me to be able to make a payment! Never had this issue dealing with Patelco for my other car loan. My biggest complaint is the lack of support, knowledge at the G1 end.

Disloyal Golden One will deny you a loan no matter how long you have been with them or how good your credit is. They are not loyal to their customers. We never once caused them to lose money, we did have a few credit issues a long time ago because of an illness but credit is great now. Being a customer for over 30 years has no bearing. Just unbelievable, do yourself a favor and pick a Credit Union that actually cares about its own customers. Had no problem getting a loan elsewhere.

My auto loan is set to be paid in full… My auto loan is set to be paid in full this month on February 20, 2023. My balance is less than my payment. Not only will the regular total amount be withdrawn and applied to the less-than balance, but I also could not remove future payments without going into a bank branch and canceling the payments. Upon going into the branch, I was met with a less-than-competent bank employee. This employee had no idea how to fill out the cancelation document and when to make the document effective. She asked ME! This was not a reassuring experience and I will be closing all Golden One accounts as soon as my car title is received.

Golden 1 is ridiculous and so am I for… Golden 1 is ridiculous and so am I for wanting to stay with them. Anyway, I already have a checking and savings account. I tried to open up another checking account, I was denied and told I was in the checks system (lies). I tried to open up a savings account and was told I closed out another account with a negative balance on August 10th (lies). So, in order to clear this all up, I have to go to the branch ( INCONVENIENCE). Really...I've been getting direct deposit there for over 15 years from one of my employers soooo, if I owed anything, it would show up in my active account. The reps couldn't answer that, why go to the branch when I'm always told they have to call Sacramento, or I have to call for complicated issues? When I had fraud, the branch told me I had to call Sacramento. The branch has the same incompetent staffs that told me I could not add beneficiaries at the branch, I had to go online. When I asked the reps in Sacramento, I was told I should've been able to do it in the branch. Good thing I have several accounts elsewhere, this last incident confirmed my real savings needs to go to my other banks and credit unions for safeguarding. Thanks for making it clear G1!!!
