On two occasions at two different branches On two occasions at two different branches, one in West Milton, Ohio and the other in Perrysburg, Ohio. I have had exceptionally great customer service. My elderly mother's account was compromised with her writing a check to a scammer. I am still in the process of changing accounts, but have been so impressed with the kindness, patience, and helpfulness of the employees at these two branches. It has restored my faith in working with someone in person vs. over the phone or internet. Thank you Huntington for having exceptional branch employees. Absolutely ridiculous Absolutely ridiculous! I've only been a customer with Huntington Bank for around 4 months, however, I've deposited a significant amount of money into my checking account since joining, well over $15k. I've started a new job and my first check was not direct deposited as it normally is, so I had to deposit my check. Today, is Friday, 2/16/24 and I was told that funds may not be available until Fri, 2/23/24 or Sat, 2/24/24. Wait, what??? So what I am suppose to do regarding my bill payments? Huntington team of processors can't call to verify the check through my employer or the bank? Should I have known, my best option would have been to use a check cashing store for this one-off circumstance. Once my check clear, I will be officially closing my account and will no longer conduct business with them. This is absolute stupidity!

Standby Cash I think the Attorney… Standby Cash I think the Attorney Generals office should look into this. Huntington claims they add this to people‘s account who are in good standing. I’ve never had an issue with my account. They put standby cash in my account and they keep upping and lowering the amount yet , nothing has been wrong with my account, you get multiple emails telling you all different things that don’t qualify for anything on my account for the reason. They are affecting peoples credit scores. Shame on Huntington.

Huntington is not a great bank It's not a great bank, these guys live in prehistoric times for a bank. I am sure the way they make a living is bank fees and nothing else. If you have to use it use it but if you can avoid go for a better institution. Everything around Huntington is complex, and they lie on demand. Their ATM's are the worst too because sometimes they can't read your checks you are trying to deposit or their touch screen is not working properly.

I deposited a check only to have said check held hostage, they wouldn't let me deposit it and they didn't return it. They basically stole my check!!! Do yourself a favor and not bank at Huntington!!!!
