I refinanced my home (that was financed… I refinanced my home (that was financed by Huntington) to lower the interest rate. Even though I was already financed through them and had far more savings with them than the amount I was refinancing, it was as if they had no idea who I was. Everything began from scratch. The process took over 5 weeks from beginning to end. Now I receive much junk mail asking me to take out mortgage insurance and or apply for personal loans. I would not recommend Huntington Bank to anyone...

On two occasions at two different branches On two occasions at two different branches, one in West Milton, Ohio and the other in Perrysburg, Ohio. I have had exceptionally great customer service. My elderly mother's account was compromised with her writing a check to a scammer. I am still in the process of changing accounts, but have been so impressed with the kindness, patience, and helpfulness of the employees at these two branches. It has restored my faith in working with someone in person vs. over the phone or internet. Thank you Huntington for having exceptional branch employees. Huntington sucks I can hardly believe that a bank can have ONE person listed on a joint account able to close the account without both parties consent. Also. Huntington bank does NOT give loans to non citizens. What about the thousands of people who live in the USA that are legal residents? Unbelievable.

Standby Cash I think the Attorney… Standby Cash I think the Attorney Generals office should look into this. Huntington claims they add this to people‘s account who are in good standing. I’ve never had an issue with my account. They put standby cash in my account and they keep upping and lowering the amount yet , nothing has been wrong with my account, you get multiple emails telling you all different things that don’t qualify for anything on my account for the reason. They are affecting peoples credit scores. Shame on Huntington.

Home loan Do not get a home loan if you are in the Chicago area well at least from loan officer Bisael, terrible service! He definitely knows how to dodge phone calls and avoid his clients. If you like being told what you can and can’t do in your home buying experience, he is a your guy but if you actually want to know and be involved go to a different bank or credit union not Huntington. Banking is great! Lending is horrible. I was suppose to close on my house Feb 29th. It is now March 27th. After burning my vacation to close on Feb 29th he refused to make accommodation for me to close on an off day and refused to accept responsibility for this mishap and still wanted to charge me to extend my APR lock rate because I could not sign on his specific date. He only accepted to have charges waved after I backed out of the deal! A little too late!
