Not worth it The hoops you have to jump through for basic service aren’t worth the extra fees they charge you. Compass was great but it went straight to the landfill as soon as PNC took over. Do not use this bank if you can keep from it.

Terrible customer service Terrible customer service. I was scammed out of $650 and PNC said they would return it to my account. A week later I got a letter in the mail saying "you authorized the charge" so request denied.

Mixed Overall experience, not just a recent visit: They are just OK. I haven't had the very negative experiences of some, but (1) their website is poor: difficult to find information; often glitches. (2) their Money Market account paid next to 0% interest in these high rate times, until I presented them evidence of what competitors offer. Even then, it only lasts 6-12 months, at which point I will need to request a rate check again.

The worst customer service experience… The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. My father died six months ago and we’re STILL dealing with PNC’s IRA division. The whole division is incompetent. For some reason it takes mail about THREE weeks to get from Pittsburgh to Northeast Ohio. They don’t use metered mail so who knows when it is actually mailed out. The IRA division will accept emailed, scanned documents but they will NOT send anything via email. We’ve moved our accounts to another bank. You should too.
