GBUnfortunately I have had to use… Unfortunately I have had to use Velosurance multiple times. I am so grateful they exist! They are professional and prompt. I was able to get help with my medical bills and a check to help buy a new bike every time. This insurance is worth every penny!!!

GBAttempted to turn off auto renew on my… Attempted to turn off auto renew on my policy by using the account management on the website. Upon filing a claim later that year I was told that my policy was actually "Canceled" and no longer active. I inquired on why I hadn't received a prorated refund then, for my prepaid policy, and was told that no refunds are allowed. I can't figure out why anyone would want this feature, but essentially if you click a button on the website you will lose all your coverage and this company keeps all of your money.

GBI absolutely could not be more pleased I absolutely could not be more pleased, unless, of course, if Hurricane Ian never happened! I emailed as soon as I was informed of the extent of damage at my Florida home and got a call back on the weekend following the event. I had my check in hand the week after the hurricane. Never in my life have I experienced such wonderful service with no hassles and caring people! I'm not sure about anything right now, including whether or when I'll replace the bike, but I'm 100% sure where I'll get my insurance for a new bike!

GBRun by complete a-holes. This company sends me constant unsolicited spam emails, when I finally told them to f*** off, someone named Dave Williams emails me pretending to be so offended by my language. Within minutes, I'm getting hit with spam calls/emails from places I've never seen before. Fairly certain this Dave Williams submitted my info to spammy web forms to "get back at me" for having the gall to tell them to stop emailing me. Total d-bags Edit: I stand by my original comments.

GBDon't count on this insurance for theft. I had signed up for velosurance for my Radmini 4. Turns out that after questioning the wording in the policy around bike theft, my bike is not covered. Had I not questioned the policy I would have been out 1600.00 if the bike was stolen. It's pretty weak insurance that doesn't protect against theft of bike locked to the back of my Jeep’s spare tire and hitch rack with a Pewag 12mm Security Chain and a Abloy PL350 padlock which sits in a secured parking garage where only someone with a key can enter the garage and there's a camera right beside the Jeep. I am not sure how much more secure I could make it.
