I switched broker earlier in the year… I switched broker earlier in the year to Bollington's and so far I have not been disappointed. I deal with a few people at Bollingtons (Wayne, Nicola, Ian and Jonathan) to name a few and they are all brilliant. The burden of multiple business policies with staggered renewals is always a challenge but they are helping lighten the burden of this and they are a really patient and friendly group. No hesitation in recommending them, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Saved ower bacon … Due to Covid my holiday cottage has lost money from no bookings like others in the same industry. Bollington offers me a cheaper renewal rate than last year then lowered it again so we could stay in business. First class company

Third year in a row renewing my trade… Third year in a row renewing my trade policy, always available on the phone without being placed on hold for hours on end. Very prompt and helpful with answering and queries too.

A moderate review Not entirely sure where to start with the one. Bollingtons is the old Ashgrove insurance. And were something else before that. Been with them for years but wasn't massively impressed with the recent insurance deal on my property. In essence they dropped me an email 2-3 days before the renewal and then a letter shortly after saying IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY RENEW etc etc to put the frightners on. Suffice to say it worked and I parted with £530 for a years insurance on a 3 bed semi in south wales. Nothing 'wrong' by the letter of business here (hence the three star review) but I was a little sad to see this tactic being employed by Bollington. It didn't happen under Ashgrove or the company before that. Will likely be shopping around from here onwards unfortunately.

The cost of insurance will bankrupt me! Loyalty means little in this day and age and the cost of my insurance shows this. The covid pandemic has been a difficult period, decimating my usual level of business. I have to compete so can't increase my rates unless my competitors do. Of course they're in the same dilemma, so all of us are struggling. The big organisations can make up for the covid shortfall by increasing their prices, particularly if, like insurance, having it is a legal requirement! We'll see what the rest of 2021 brings? I'm less confident now than I have been in my twenty nine years of trading!
