GBBait & Switch I was quoted a price and agreed to sign up with People's Trust only to have my premium raised almost immediately after becoming a customer. All kinds of BS reasons were given including one that said my home had an unknown pitch.. What? The home was built in 20o1 and insured by other insurance companies with no issues. Essentially People's Trust wanted to charge me more for my home with a new roof then predecessors did with nearly a 20yr old roof, now how absurd is that?

GBIf anyone knows any lawyer we can… If anyone knows any lawyer we can contact, please provide their website here, people’s trusts is a company that should not be in business anymore getting people’s money and when we submit a claim they don’t do nothing. Our desk advisor Collins never responded one single email o phone call.

GBYour low pricing is the best feature Your pricing is reasonable for for my older home. The penalty fee is the lowest of any insurance company I've come across. I did NOT like that my rate went up simply because my roof type was reported inaccurately (unintentionally). I didn't think that should make hundreds of dollars a year difference to my premium. That's not THAT big a risk factor.

GBPlease see Sun-Sentinal articles before you sign with this company Please google "sun-sentinel Peoples Trust Insurance " and read the 2 articles about them incentivizing their contractors to cut corners on repairs as well as suing their policyholders. They have treated my elderly mother with complete disregard and disrespect which compelled me to post this. Hope this saves someone unnecessary stress and money.

GBThe SLOW Response Peoples Trust Ins Co I filed a claim a few days after hurricane Ian hit SW Florida. After the initial acknowledgement of claim being filed there has been absolutely no contact from adjustor for well over a month to inspect the property or submitting information concerning claim. No response from adjustor assigned to claim, calls went unanswered and mailbox was full. An adjustor finally showed up, outa the blue, one morning. To his credit, the adjustor did do a comprehensive evaluation of all damages; took lots of notes, photos, etc.... and hopefully a fair evaluation of the claim will be processed. Fingers crossed!!!
