GBWill find any excuse to charge you excesses I paid £30 - £40 per month for 5 years for pet insurance for rabbits and I wish I had just put it in a savings account as my rabbit developed a skin condition in 2021 and I visited the vet 4 separate occasions for treatment and Petplan found every reason to charge me an excess each time. If you use this company make sure you really understand the policy and what wording your vet or you use for each claim. A waste of nearly £3k :-( I wont make the mistake again.

GBQuality Service from Petplan We have been a customer of Petplan for many years. Unfortunately we have had to make a number of claims over the last few years, particularly for one of our cats. Petplan have been consistently quick and efficient in settling the claims and always with reasons and clear explanations for their decisions. Sadly we have just lost this cat and they offered their condolences, paid the claim and instigated cancellation of the policy. Whilst not the cheapest, they are worth every penny.

GBNot the peace of mind it seems What an almighty rip off - have been with Pet plan for years and find every way not to pay out with excessive and increasing yearly premiums as your pets age. Seriously -I urge anyone considering a policy - to review the option of putting money in the bank each month. A surprising number of vets agree this is a better option.

GBBuyer beware…terrible! Buyer beware….terrible…terrible…terrible! Submitted for a new condition and claims were not paid because they said I did not submit within 90 day period. So that creates scenario that any issues I needed paid were within my deductible. Terrible customer service, tereible app, terrible communication, expensive and worthless when needed the most! Thanks for nothing Petplan or Fetch the dodo or whatever you call yourself these days! Corporate infighting and court fights have ruined this company.

NZLast year we purchased a Burmese kitten… Last year we purchased a Burmese kitten from a registered breeder in NZ. The kitten came with one month's insurance with Pet Plan. Unfortunately our kitten became unwell soon after we got him home. He had three acute viral infections and needed two nights acue treatment at the vets. When we went to claim the $2000 from Petplan- they declined stating the kitten became unwell on day 6 and their cover did not kick in until day 7. They did not reconsider in spite of correspondence and support from our vet.We informed the breeder who has now changed from Petplan. WE WILL NEVER DEAL WITH PETPLAN AGAIN.
