GBWill find any excuse to charge you excesses I paid £30 - £40 per month for 5 years for pet insurance for rabbits and I wish I had just put it in a savings account as my rabbit developed a skin condition in 2021 and I visited the vet 4 separate occasions for treatment and Petplan found every reason to charge me an excess each time. If you use this company make sure you really understand the policy and what wording your vet or you use for each claim. A waste of nearly £3k :-( I wont make the mistake again.

GBCannot praise this company enough Cannot praise this company enough. After taking out insurance for my new kitten a few years back he became very ill and required a lot of specialist treatment and emergency vet trips every single claim was paid with no fuss, staff have always answered my questions when I've called. Unfortunately my boy passed away late last year but even then they sorted everything when I informed them. Just got a ragdoll kitten and taken a new ultimate plan out so 3 top plans and I'd never be without. Thank you pet plan!!!

CAJoseph and Elona best customer service I have had my pomeranian insured for almost 3 years now and had to unfortunately call for info on an upcoming surgery. Joseph Prater (Joe) did an amazing job answering all my questions and not rushing me off the phone. I can sense Joe has a passion for what he does and the entire petplan team. I also spoke with Elona earlier in the day who helped set my new pom puppy up for a plan. Elona also reviewed all options with me and even called me back upon my request. Elona and Joe your efforts do not go unnoticed, I hope someone from communications or management can pass this along.

GBSave your money Save your money. Despite spending $1200.00 per year for insurance, Petplan finds a way to deny submitted claims. Recently submitted multiple claims for an ailment documented by my vet as unrelated to any previous condition. Petplan decided the ailment was a pre-condition and denied the claim. Asked the supervisor Don to kindly speak with my vet for a clearer explanation…obnoxiously declined. Found plan to be obstructive and self serving.

GBNot the peace of mind it seems What an almighty rip off - have been with Pet plan for years and find every way not to pay out with excessive and increasing yearly premiums as your pets age. Seriously -I urge anyone considering a policy - to review the option of putting money in the bank each month. A surprising number of vets agree this is a better option.
