BEFor a finance company For a finance company, StreetShares showed a real lack of customer service and communication. I don't mind if we're not the right fit for there funding program but to say it with out really understanding our business model and making a decision with out all the right information, is just poor and lazy work on their part. wont recommend or use them again.

GBExpensive but accessible Costs for loan are high, but the process wasn't too hard and the turnaround was faster than a bank loan. There were some stumbles along the way, so it wasn't as fast as advertised, but they did get things sorted out and get me the funds in a reasonable timeframe. If your business is too small and too new to qualify for a bank loan, or has revenues too low for the bigger "small" business loan companies, try them out - they may surprise you.

GBNo-brainer Investment Set-up was a breeze - some basic information and a few clicks and I was all set. The rate of return on your investment is a no-brainer; I can't get that on any savings account, CD, etc. I logged in a couple days later and everything was updated so I knew exactly what I made. They could explain how interest is compounded and provide a bit more detail, but that's it. Supporting a veteran-owned company that supports other veterans is an added bonus. Sign up. You won't regret it.

GBGood service, but... In general I had a good experience with Streetshares. Their rates were better than most other lenders, though the origination fee they charge decreases that benefit. The application process was easy and I have found since signing up that making extra early payments is easy enough as well. My only negative was the representative that contacted me to set up my account ended up being overly pushy to sell the service. When I stated that I needed some time to compare and check out their history he still pushed to close the deal. I ended up having to hang up on him. I did the research I needed and StreetShares did end up being the best option, but the hard sell sales technique left me with a bad taste. I would have knocked them down to 3 stars, but in this culture where anything but 5-star is bad I couldn't ding them that much for one incident when all their other service has been good. I'm not sure if that selling tactic is company policy, but hopefully they recognize that business owners need their space to make decisions.

GBAfter giving all my info After giving all my info, I NEVER received a call with a status on the application. Finally, I call them to see if I "qualified," for a loan. The guy looks up my application or whatever and then asks how much do I make a year personally, apparently you have to make at least $25,000 a year, to qualify for a loan. I asked him, well, that's not what is advertised- what streetshares advertised is, if you have bad credit you still can qualify for a loan." The only thing he says is, "sorry we can't go any further." They didn't offer any assistance whatsoever, and a lot of the reviews online are fake. The guy didn't give me two minutes before telling me there was nothing he could do. Bad service, bad company and bad advertisement.
