GBAppfolio has regressed with technology… Appfolio has regressed with technology that people expect to help their daily lives. Many software and industries in general offer free ACH echeck options. After Appfolio pushed to get many residents paying online, they have begun to charge $2.49 per transaction. This is fee is not substantiated. They say they want to be progressive, but removing a free automatic payment option is a step backwards for most people. Paying with checks are now necessary again, which is ridiculous!

LKBest Property Management Software Best Property Management Software I am using Appfolio since 2013 and I have helped many USA-based real estate-related firms such as Property Managers, Brokers, and Investors. Appfolio is improving each day and I love doing Bank reconciliations (Triple Tie) and posting Management Fees, Owner payments are really easy. Everything from Data entry to Generating Financials for Taxes and sending Owner Packets to Owners is streaming nicely. Love it. Ishara Silva Co-Founder/Accountant I&S Online Solutions Pvt Ltd

GBThe programmers do not know the first… The programmers do not know the first thing about accounting or bookkeeping. There are very very many obstacles, that if the software creators would work with an accountant or at least try to use the system, then maybe they can try to resolve. They are very proud of their many integrations, but when it boils down to regular day yo day functionality, not very user friendly.

GBConsumer Rights Violations The recent addition of $2.49 service fee for eCheck transactions is another example of greed. If any fee is needed it should be passed along to the property owners, not the renters. There is now no way to pay online without adding fees. This is completely ridiculous and asinine. I will be reporting to the State Attorney General and BBB for consumer rights violations.
