Real tenant with real review I am an actual tenant that can say it has been a great experience since I moved in my home. Anytime I have called them for any issue they are always right there I know everyone situation can be different but I live in Tennessee and they have been great to me and my family.Only minor issue I wish lights and water was in my name but that’s ok. Maybe in the future they will consider that but Thanks for everything you all have done for me and my family.

FORCED internet package-Can not opt-out on They are now starting a new policy of forcing tenants in my area who are renting with them to have a 85.00 internet bundle package added to the already increased rent! I have called and asked for them to remove this bundle package because I do not even watch cable but my leasing consultant said it was a nationwide roll out and she couldn't do anything about it. Why not actually ask the people who are renting from you all if that is a service they want first before FORCING THEM TO PAY IT and having not the choice to opt-out on it. THAT IS NOT RIGHT. This company rent gouges and they know it. This company already charges 9.95 for air filter fees, a smart home fee (thankfully I opted out on-AND WAS ALLOWED TO OPT OUT ON), and now they are FORCING you to add a 85.00 internet bundle package to your lease if you renew with them for the 2024-2025 year. I don't even watch cable! Why is this company forcing this on the tenants?! All it is, is more money in the pockets for this company. Stop rent gouging!

Research Their Lawsuit! Invitation Homes took over Streetlane Properties during our last three months of our lease and we wish we got out sooner! The move-out appointment was insulting and they took almost all of our security deposit. Mind you, we had a month buffer to our new place and they still had the audacity to charge us for petty “damages” like a sink draining slow and gutters not being spotless. Beware that the utilities bill also doesn’t add up and you will be paying well above what you actually use (confirmed through us moving out a month early!) Please stay away from them, it’s not worth it.

Scam artist The absolute, worst company you could ever imagine dealing with. None of the employees are helpful with the exception of the maintenance crew. They nickel and dime every single month your rent changes because of all of the many charges fees and surprises that they throw at you. They have poorly written letters that end up charging you money. If you don’t watch the fine print, never ever ever consider renting from invitation homes don’t do it by any means necessary. They are absolute scumbags.

Somebody Need to be Fired I received a reply from my recent review. Apparently the person who called was just as inadequate to assist. her name is Guia or something close to that. After speaking with her I asked her name. When she replied I told her you are the same nasty condescending person that I spoke to before and I rather not speak to you again. My issue was the insurance charges. She asked me to send her proof of my insurance to which I replied I sent it twice. Our continued conversation revealed to me the insidious lack of communication between their entities which is why she did not have a copy of my policy. I decided that it was in my best interest to forfeit my claim of being overcharged so I would not behave unprofessionally. IH is by far the worst I have ever dealt with and liken our relationship to a bad marriage that needed to be over. There is a Class Action lawsuit against them for the very reason for my concerns. yet, they act like its nothing. I personally hope they fire Guia and hire someone who has both the sensitivity to deal with customers and the professionalism warranted by her position.
