pitlocks and spares made easy A great source for Pitlock skewers, spares, and more. Pitlock skewers are highly effective and last a long time, but use special washers that wear out and are easy to lose. Urban Bike Tech has spares, cheap. Not only could I get a new bike's worth of skewers on my existing key code, but I got to refurbish my old set, too.

Combine Pitlock. Redundant security measures are needed for protecting any bike and it's parts. Combining my Abus 540 U lock with my Pitlock quick release wheel locks and head lock, provides an efficient way to secure my bike, traveling with minimal bulk and weight. Shout out to Jason for providing great customer service and support.

Great customer service Great customer service, they help guide me to the correct key for a previously bought thru axle which had a lost key, despite giving them the wrong code for the part. I really love my pitlock skewers. I've had mine for over a year with daily use, and so far no theft or thread failure, and this is for a fatbike that occasionally has to tow about 50 pounds of cargo. They're a little pricey, but they are definitely worth the investment.
