Pitlock skewers are highly effective and last a long time, but use special washers that wear out and are easy to lose. Urban Bike Tech has spares, cheap. Not only could I get a new bike's worth of skewers on my existing key code, but I got to refurbish my old set, too.

Nice feeling of security Really nice screws, wish I had option to purchase bolt sets without the tool since I now have 6x tools. Also need to order larger sizes, but it's nice to have extras to secure family and friends' bikes for them. Overall, very nice product worth the $$ spent.

Combine Pitlock. Redundant security measures are needed for protecting any bike and it's parts. Combining my Abus 540 U lock with my Pitlock quick release wheel locks and head lock, provides an efficient way to secure my bike, traveling with minimal bulk and weight.
