GBLove my Inno Kayak Assist Bar I received my Inno Kayak Lifter Load Assist Bar on time and am happy to recommend BackcountryRacks to my kayaking friends. It was easy to use UPS package tracking to know when it would arrive. The Assist Bar makes loading my kayak much easier, especially after a long day of playing on the river.

GBExchange - Needed Pro, Not Cascade Backcountry Racks - no complaints. They were very accommodating when I ordered the wrong rack (Cascade) and wanted to exchange for another (PRO). The shipping costs for my part in the return were not able to be compensated but they did process the exchange without my incurring the costs for the additional shipping for the new rack. If anyone Does see this, don’t brain-fart like I did and get the Cascade if you want to put away full setups. It’ll hold full setups (from Landyachtz cruisers to longboards), you just can’t use each slot, then — like if you have cruisers and skateboards… the trucks and wheels will get in the way and block off another slot. This would be fine if I had fewer boards to put up… but I do need each slot. 😅

GBWould purchase from them again Great customer service, product came exactly as expected. Looks durable and everything was packaged well & easy to install. Putting 4 stars because I received a 10% off code for signing up on there website and it would never work when entering, just said code was invalid but it was exactly what was sent. We received the Rhino Rack Vortex Track Mount Roof Rack w/o Tracks Y02-480-NT & installed them on an A.R.E. Camper shell for our Toyota Tundra and they worked perfect.

GBHow not to handle refunds Ordered and paid for a rack. Five days after placing the order I'm informed it's not in stock. I cancel the order. 7 days and 3 emails later I finally received a refund through PayPal. But the refund is "pending!" It's now nearly 2 weeks since cancelling and I'm still not able to access my refund. Terrible customer service, not helpful or apologetic regarding excessive time to receive refund. It would appear this company would benefit from real-time stock management software. As most of the complaints listed here relate to sales being made for items that are not in stock, and the subsequent delays in refunds being issued.
