Searchastay is Not Fit for Long-Term Stays My roommates and I spent four months at a Searchastay location in New York. Though very fortunate for this housing opportunity, I honestly did not know if we were being housed until I received the keys. There was definitely a lack of communication on the company’s side. From a mice infestation, lack of heat, and a broken oven, a responsive landlord would have been nice. My roommates and I had to fix the majority of our issues on our own, fixing light fixtures and settling with no working oven for four months. If you are looking for a long-term stay, I would not recommend Searchastay, however short-term may suffice.

Refund difficulties. Booked a big property (over$3000) and unfortunately had to cancel. Cancelled within the full refund period. Once the refund was due, I received partial refund in odd amounts. Had to message a few times in order to receive full refund. Beware and ontop of your banking if you want your complete refund. Otherwise was easy to book etc.

Fantastic and quick customer service Ou trip to New York was booked in February before the pandemic was in full swing. This trip was booked for my anniversary with my husband. Booking this property was so easy and any time I had a question it was answered quickly. They were so accommodating in every way. Unfortunately due to Canadian travel restriction we can no long proceed with our plans for our anniversary so we’ve had to cancel our trip. We had zero issues canceling and it was done quickly and with great kindness. When we are able to book again, I will absolutely choose to book with Searchastay and Ben again. We can’t wait to visit New York and to stay at this prime location!

Property is located close to waterfront in the financial district - unit needs updating. Location of the property is great with lots of restaurants close by and near financial district. Very urban feel with a mix of homeowners and vacationers. The unit itself was quite dated and needs many fixes. The window blinds were broken and the sliding door in the guest bedroom was busted. Furniture was old and very low to ground (1990's style?). Carpet had stains. Air conditioner and dehumidifier kept the temperature cool. Unit has washer/dryer which is handy. Building has 2 pools, hot tub, huge workout facility and party room.

Easy location near quick food Easy location near quick food, convenient stores and gas station. A 15-20 min Uber downtown. Photos are 100% accurate. Our group of 10 fit comfortably with no issues. We had a great first experience in Miami.
