Having decided on FX based on the excellent rates offered on Danish kronor and superb reviews I sent the cash on Tuesday afternoon by Royal Mail’s Special delivery, guaranteed next day delivery. Early on Wednesday afternoon I received a message from FX confirming receipt and the amount in Sterling I would receive within 3 working days. It was slightly more than the online estimate provided on Tuesday. To my surprise the money was in my bank account this morning, Thursday. I could not have expected anything better.

Excellent service. Excellent service. I returned from the US with some dollars acquired from the finance department of a well known retail store. They offered buy back. However, the rate offered by them was $1.47 to the £. The FxCompany's rate was 1.34, almost 9% better. I posted the currency as per their security instructions, have an acknowledgement the following afternoon and the funds appeared in my bank account that evening. What not to like?

Very smooth and straightforward Very good experience. Sent cash by 1st class special post (cost £6.80) and got the sterling in my bank account a couple of days later. It was better value than changing at the Post Office itself despite paying postage and only selling 100 euros or so. All very slick despite the slightly clunky-feeling website.

Couldn't fault Used Thefxcompany to exchange uae dirhams back to sterling. Followed the instructions given, posted currency back on a Monday and had a credit on my account by Tuesday! Despite having paid £7.25 in postage, their rate was the best around giving me the most money back. I couldn't fault the service and I would highly recommend. Thank you.
