Custom Tahiti Travel was good Custom Tahiti Travel was a pleasure to book our last-minute honeymoon through. They were very accommodating with payment scheduled and booking. We had a couple hiccups, though. We never received the GoPro promotion prior to leaving, but it was quickly rectified after we returned. Another problem we encountered was a strike in Tahiti with our airline - flight was cancelled (beyond their control), but they did not resolve detour problem for us as other resortee's experienced with their travel agents. We had to get the issue resolved ourselves by visiting the Air France office in Tahiti, something we feel should have been handled by Custom Tahiti. Nonetheless, it was resolved and we got out flight changed and made our connections - just wish they put through more effort like our fellow travelers' agents did.

You can still save your trip We were suppose to travel to Moorea and Bora Bora next month for our 10 year anniversary. Received an email on Oct 2 that they have gone out of business and all our reservations have been canceled. We paid them in full 3 weeks ago and unfortunately may never get the money back. For those that are still wanting to go on their trip, we have located the island company Custom Tahiti travel used to book our hotel, ferry, and inter island flights and luckily they have NOT canceled our trip and were willing to deal with us directly. Standard experience In the end, everything turned out great! Was nice to have all of our hotels, breakfasts, transfers and inter-island flights all sorted and organised for us - we had an amazing holiday! We did plan our holiday in advance (as it was for our wedding!) and it would have been nice if the travel agent was more helpful with the others who were in our party. We gave them our agents name, who had said he could help organise their travel as well, and everyone decided to go with someone else/another agency as he was not helpful at all, didn't respond to emails etc. Strange as it would have made them more money... apart from that, dealing with Custom Tahiti Travel was a good experience but nothing outstanding.

We found Custom Tahiti on wedding wire … We found Custom Tahiti on wedding wire and chose them because they just focus on Tahiti. We worked with Jackie and she did wonderful job planning a custom honeymoon for us. She knew the differences in resorts and which bungalows were the best. She also helped us book some great excursions (recommend Jet Skiing in Bora Bora). We thought about doing this trip ourselves, but decided to book through an agency and we are glad we did. We got everything we wanted at a great price and it allowed us to focus on our wedding.

Jackie and Custom Tahiti are second to none!!! Jackie was very knowledgeable and very in tune to our expectations for our trip. We had inquired with a few different travel companies but quickly felt most comfortable with Custom Tahiti. We felt that Jackie was putting forth the same effort as if she were the traveler. She put us in touch with our wedding planner, photographer, tour guides, restaurant reservations. You name it she took care of it. And when Jackie wasn't available Tom stepped right in. Travel documents were delivered in advance not to fret and people to meet us on the ground were outstanding.
