What's going on at Chico's What's going on at Chico's? On July 23, 2023, I placed a $70 order at Chico's Online Shop (the $9.90 sale). I've sent 2 messages to the email address on my receipt inquiring about my order. No response of any kind. It's now over a month since I placed my order. I order regularly online and always got my orders promptly. Have I been scammed by Chico's?

Terrible experience last December item ordered it stunk like it had come out of a bin and was nothing like the item I had ordered cheap and very nasty and unable to contact them or query ended up giving it to the bank to deal with

Don't wash your linen dresses according to care instructions! Ordered a beautiful linen dress from Chico's, $179.00, last Spring. Wore it a couple of times before washing it. Hung in my closet because I was out of state for a few months. Came home and decided to wash it before wearing it on Easter. Followed very carefully the care instructions on the dress and it SHRUNK! Couldn't wear it. It was after the 6 months and I didn't have a receipt. CS allowed me to return it "this one time". Thank you. Just called to follow up on my refund. They mailed me a gift card for $9.97, which I haven't received!!! I'm afraid to wash anything I've purchased from Chico's. I'm returning my recent purchases. Who keeps receipts for 6 months? Won't be shopping there again.

Honestly these people are dumber than… Honestly these people are dumber than bricks. I ordered Christmas giftS ahead of time- my entire order was cancelled with zero notification. I sat online they couldn’t help me. I called customer service, got it squared away with what was actually left in stock- they expedited shipping to my mother which is -yes at a different address. They sent the order to my house!!!!!!!! It’s now December 30th and my mother has not gotten a Xmas gift. Thank you chicos.

Deteriorating Chico's used to have chic takes on current styles and well-crafted clothes. The patterns used to match across seams, the patterns used to extend to the back of the items, the materials were of good quality. There used to be color-matched or coordinated separates that would make an outfit that were all available for sale at the same time. Color names were dependable to be the same color across pieces. That has deteriorated significantly. Same prices, but now cheap fabrics, especially see-through whites, coordinating pieces are not available at the same time. Patterns are not matched. Stitching is sometimes pulled instead of flat. Chico's clothing used to be worth the higher price for the tailoring and quality. Not any more.
