Never book with these bozos. Travelocity is what is called a third party seller. If you book an airline ticket, a cruise, hotel, etc., and you have a problem, you are unable to deal with the actual company they represent. My flight was changed by more than 7 hours, Travelocity wouldn't rebook me on another flight, something they're required to do or issue a refund. The airline told me that since I bought from Travelocity, they had to handle the refund request or rebooking. Travelocity did neither. AMEX stepped in when I contested the charge and it was charged back to Travelocity. According to the airline, this is par for the course with all third party sellers with the exception of brick and mortar travel agencies.

Avoid booking through this company Avoid booking through this company. I mistakenly booked the same trip twice within a matter of moments of one another. Travelocity wasted weeks of my time raising to help, they didn't even fulfill their own terms about only charging me for the first night if I canceled. They charge me full price for two trips, this is street informing them of the error near instantly. The hotel manager repeated they had no money from me and to speak with Travelocity. Travelocity said the same about the hotel. I'm not sure who was lying but someone was unfortunately. This was my first time traveling with them and I will never do so again. I turned up for the stay (didn't cancel the second trip), but was only given one key :)

Travelocity Travel Insurance/Global Luxury Suites FAIL We had a week long stay booked at the Global Luxury Suites in Boston,MA thru Travelocity with insurance.We had to cancel because my Brother in Law suffered a brain hemmorage/Stroke which eventually caused his death.Travel Insurance won't pay, Global Luxury Suites won't recognize our cancellation thru Travelocity.If that wasn't enough, my husbands credit card is now being used fraudulently likely because Global Luxury suites requires a COLOR copy of your credit card when you book. We have booked with Travelocity in the past without issue but this time the ball has been dropped and we have been left hanging in very desperate and tragic situation.

Customer service is absolutely worthless I've used them for many, many years but after not helping me with a return flight, I'm out. They blamed United but United assisted me even though I made the mistake of going through Travelocity. NEVER. AGAIN. Or any Expedia affiliate. I'll be making reservations directly with airlines from now on.
