GBShocking. 0 stars for customer service We were meant to be travelling with Air Mauritius. They cancelled our flight with NO notification via email. Our holiday provider notified us. They removed our booking reference without providing a new one so we couldn't access our booking online via their website. We paid for extra services which we needed a refund for due to the cancellation. After 40 minutes waiting on the phone I was given incorrect information how to go about this by the customer service person.

GBNEVER AGAIN!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!! our flight from Gatwick was delayed by over 9 hours and no offer of food or drink. finally arrived in Mauritius, waited over 2 hours for baggage only to find out that my mums suitcase was not put on plane at Gatwick because the check in staff was too busy chit chatting with others and on his phone so he didn't tag it. Given a ref no. in Mauritius and told I could track, but to date nothing! my mums case is still missing to date and have had no response from Air Mauritius. They ignore emails and refuse to answer phone. Aeroplanes are budget to say the least with cold food, uncomfortable seats, below par for international long haul flight, been on better planes to Canary Islands. Will never use this outfit again.... even the locals don't like using them and that's saying something.

AUAvoid Air Mauritius at all cost!!!! Avoid Air Mauritius at all cost, they are impossible to deal with. 2 different flight paths used with them, 3 Cancelled flights within that. They didn't have any accommodation available so we booked two extra nights, trying to get a refund from them on these two nights is impossible. absolute incompetent airline!!! I hope they can sort there S*%T out or this airline will go under, I am surprised the CEO still has a job after looking at all the reviews, must know people in high places!!!!

CAWorst Airline ever Worst Airline ever. On Saturday 13th. Flight Mk042 was delayed into Gatwick from Mauritius was scheduled to depart at 10.25pm and actually departed at nearly 3.30am. By the time we landed in Gatwick and got our luggage it was over 6hr delay. We missed our connection at Heathrow. There were 14 of us. The Air Mauritius rep at Gatwick send us to a hotel and told us our flights were rescheduled the next day . Next day we go to the airport no ticket were paid to our connecting airlines. They just didn't gave a toss. Mr Vel Rengasamy (station Manager Gatwick) you should be ashamed of yourself,none of your staff were available to talk to in UK.

GBAirline says no compensation if flying to/from the UK Our flight from Mauritius to London was massively delayed in Nov 23 without explanation. I applied for compensation via their website. 5 months later, they responded by saying thr following: However, your entire itinerary began in a country that is not part of the European Union. The European Court of Justice has ruled that the statutory compensation set out in Regulation (EC) 261/2004 does not apply to such an itinerary. We are unable to respond favourably to your request. Therefore if you are flying from the UK to Mauritius/Mauritius to UK and there are big delays to your flight, you will not be entitled to compensation. I am currently seeking legal advice about this. DO NOT book with this airline.
