£40 to sit together, despite choice of over 100 seats. Checked in online 24 hours before flight from Mauritius to Gatwick. Well over 100 seats to choose from, but my wife and I had been allocated different seat rows. EVERY spare seat (even the ones on our individual rows) were marked as 'extra comfort' and incurred an additional charge, so I had to fork out about £40 to sit next to my wife. This is obviously a deliberate ploy, which you might expect from certain slimy budget airlines but when you're forking out the best part of £1k for a return journey, in my opinion this is cheap, nasty, profiteering & sly business practice. Air Mauritius you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Back to the airport today to be told this one is 'delayed' but they have no idea until when or why. Absolutely abhorrent service/information provided.

Outrageous customer service Arrived early for baggage check in and was only informed as I was checking in that the flight was delayed for 6 hours due to it leaving late! No apology given. I completed their claim form for compensation but heard nothing back despite frequent emails and trying to reach them via phone (the lines always seem to be engaged) I ended up reaching out to a third party who got in touch with them and told them my claim had been rejected, no explanation as to why and seems outrageous considering the rules regarding compensation. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU CAN

Fly ba . Save the stress and money Air Mauritius as a airline is a unbelievable joke of a company. It cancelled 4 flights on us , one with no phone call. The delays on the flight over should have warned me. This has been a awful experience. I finally got home 5 days after we expected.

Excessive penalty fees I ask to postpone my return ticket to a later date. The penalty fee is higher than the present cost of the ticket itself!! No one attend to my complaint and keep repeating that the penalty fee is Rs 39,860!! to change a return ticket. Shame on you Air Mauritius, you are a thief !!
