Expensive Water The price rise of ANGLIAN WATER is disgraceful, on top of being one of the dearest water companies in the UK.

Smart meter leak that’s being proactively dealt with. Apparently there was a malfunction when a smart meter was installed recently and we were losing a lot of water at my elderly Mum’s home. Anglian had to manage our expectations, as there have been some real national water emergencies lately that have occupied many of their engineers… … but despite this, their customer service team endeavoured to put in things to protect us (as a customer) while they worked around the problem. It’s nice when companies have both contractors and employees who want to deliver a first rate and professional service (onsite) and this review isn’t simply a pat on the back for Anglian, but more a massive thanks to team players, Barry Chaplin and Ben Ainger. Both guys quickly identified the issue and have tried to expedite its solution.

Awful customer service Awful customer service. Totally unhelpful. Says we have 190 litre leak in 24 hours every day since they fitted a smart meter. Nearly a month on they not helpful point blank say its our internal plumbing no sign of leak. Old analogue meter did not pick up leak so why now. Finally have someone coming round in 2 weeks time to check meter. Very rude very arrogant.

So understanding when many companies are not. I had a complicated situation to resolve and I really needed sensitivity. The operator I spoke to was Julie and she was so helpful and understanding. She made the process so painless and I have had a day of a tiny few making it unpleasant but, not Julie at Anglian Water. What might you change? Make the phone number more obvious on the website.

jobsworths... A really poor experience when attempting to log outgoing and incoming tenants and wanting the meter readings for the void period. The lady was more concerned with being a jobsworth as opposing to being helpful, perhaps explaining why the collective feedback here for anglia water is abysmal.
