Bank Partners has been working alongside the NHS to provide flexible (bank) staffing services for nearly three decades. Together with our partner NHS Trusts, we support 58,000 healthcare workers in meaningful flexible careers within the health service. We have an average 98% audit pass rate and on-site teams who are dedicated to ensuring our healthcare workers can get the help they need in person, as well dedicated colleagues on the end of a phone or email within our off-site offices. All our teams are dedicated to helping our partners deliver the long-term plan to drive down agency spend and increase take-up of flexible bank shifts across the NHS.

Staff ignored and disrespected Specifically: their “Bart’s compliance team” - in charge of online core education and training courses. *The communication side of things is and had always been completely unsatisfactory.* I have been sending multiple emails to them trying to confirm the expiry date for the courses (so that I can plan my life!) and had no answer. Totally disregarded and ignored by them. How can their staff ever feel valued and respected when they’re treated in such a way?

Painfully incompetent Awful! They took over the management of bank staff in our company and are as useless as a chocolate fireguard. The person who sanctioned and decided to add this extra layer of (incompetent) bureaucracy, has either had a golden handshake or is in dire need of a MHA assessment. Administration of bank staff like in the 1970s. They haven't even got an e-rota for ease of access and booking. The attitude of some of their 'booking partners' is horrendous. Since our company punished us with Bank Partners, I am seriously considering handing in my notice.

Efficient communication Saffina was very helpful and gave me updates along the way. It was very helpful to have one person to contact who knew what was going on with my application many thanks.

Never been paid for locum shifts Never been paid for locum shifts I've worked despite multiple emails and attempts to escalate. Members of staff ping my emails around to each other, passing on responsibility until they reach a dead end and nobody resolves the issue. It also took months and multiple emails from me chasing them to complete my registration to the staff bank. To this day, none of my assigned shifts have appeared on my profile, despite emails confirming that I am on the rota, and I have never received a single pay slip. Genuinely awful experience. This unfortunately means I cannot take on extra locum shifts in my trust as this is the only company they use. I don't know how they can get away without paying staff.

Ridiculous system Thousand of emails sent and if you lucky you wait a week for a reply. I have done all the paperwork necessary months in advance in order to not have any problems. I finished my permanent contract on the 3rd of March and today (the 8th) stil I am not sorted. Ridiculous system.
