GBWho says there's no honesty and integrity anymore?!? The manager, Jody, at Cottman Transmission of Durham, was very professional and kind! He explained the issues with my transmission, and even took me into the shop to visualize the problems. He recommended rebuilding the transmission, and not to go ahead with the transmission oil and filter change. He did not charge me anything, even though, they had to add a quart and a half of transmission fluid before they could take it for a test drive. I commend them all for their honesty and helpfulness during my first visit to their shop! Thank you and I will definitely be back when I have the funds available for the transmission rebuild! GBCar was "checked out" and the only … Car was "checked out" and the only information I was given was they would charge Just short of $500 to take tranny out/in. No info on possible problem or cost. I spent 30 minutes on internet and found all the info on problem with car and solutions to fix it. Plus a sizeable amount of change was taken out of the arm rest console. Overall not happy at all
