Best Service in town I personally had my transmission rebuilt by Cottman's of Durham. They not only came in under the quote, but my truck was ready a day early and has run like a dream ever since. The people are so friendly, they obviously see each other as family and when you walk through the door you too become part of that family. Since repairing my truck I have sent my Mom to have work done by them too. She is older and doesn't handle the pressures of car repairs and cost well. She has been treated so kindly both times she has gone in to have repair work done. They have been patient with her and thoroughly explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix the problems in a quick and cost efficient manner. They have impressed me beyond words. Like most people, my Mom is the world to me and to know that they have taken such good care of her and helped ease her worries along the way touches my heart. I would recommend them to ALL of Durham, they go above and beyond and if I could give them 10 stars I would, just know the 5 I gave was as high as I could go but they deserve so much more recognition!!!!!!

I have found a great place in Cottman's … I have found a great place in Cottman's of Durham. The man that runs the place, Jody, is a wonderful and trustworthy person to have to take care of you and your car. He patiently explains every question that I have and he always comes through with what he says and tells me. I never leave there feeling uncomfortable. He makes sure that I get the best of care, and there are not too many places that I can boast of that. I can also boast that he goes the extra mile with taking care of me after hours.
