Spyder® PRO-JH-SI08-LBDRL-BK - Black Switchback LED DRL I recently bought and installed new Spyder headlights. However, after installation, I noticed that the Daytime Running Lights were not the C-lights as described in the product description. According to the description, the C-lights should be on during normal driving (DRL Bar) and the switchback function would activate during the blinker phase. Unfortunately, the C-lights do not turn on during the DRL phase, only during the low beam and parking light function phase. I must say that the headlights were packaged very well and delivered on time. When I contacted customer service, they replied quickly, but the representative was a bit short in answering my query. However, the response was informative as they stated that Spyder creates the information blurbs on the headlight ad, not CARID. Hence, if there is any misleading information, it is a SPYDER issue, not CARID. After giving it some thought, I decided to keep the headlights as I like the switchback blinker function, the look of the lights, as well as the overall quality.

Kudos to CARiD Joseph was my CARiD representative who assisted me with my purchase. He was knowledgeable, polite and professional; he quickly gained my respect as our phone conversation regarding my wheels progressed. I could tell he was experienced, genuinely cared about helping me... in short, he took my purchase seriously. I also want to give kudos to CARiD's website; it was user friendly. This company seems to care on every level.

Caution Caution, this company uses deceptive marketing practices. Their website shows items sold in "kits" and uses pictures that show more items than what are included in the kit. They separately list what is included in the kit which may or may not include everything pictured. Their answer to this: "The pictures are only for reference, we list what's included." Deceptive practice. Be sure to read the description carefully and do NOT trust the pictures. You're out of luck if you don't read what's included carefully.
