AUDo not trust Do not trust! Rented a vehicle through Budget, prepaid in full, including all fees, taxes, location charges etc. On return of the car, they charged my credit card an additional 45% for the base rental alone. But on top of that, they charged me a refueling fee, despite returning the car with a full tank (and taking a photo of the gauge to prove it). And for a small windscreen chip, they charged a further $1,822, and have not, despite repeated requests, provided any evidence of the cost to repair. But worst of all? They emailed their invoice, with a digitally added squiggle in the customer signature box. We did not even see the invoice, let alone sign it! Is this legal? Can they simply sign their own document in my name and pretend that I agreed to their ridiculous and fraudulent charges? Their "customer service" were worse than useless - could not even tell me what they actually charged me for the base rental, separate from the other charges. Did not even understand that VAT was a thing.

GBAll lies and BS to sell you and double your prices Employee saw me and my girl, and immediately try to upsell everything to us, saying our small kia rental will not make it through the hills of Sedona. Well it's our first time driving in this type of territory so we gave in. Realize it was all BS. He tried to sell us insurance but stood firm and say no to that. My previous estimate online was paid 332. After all that and he lied and said gas would be cheaper if he filled for us, so we agreed. End up being charged $60 and barely filled out gas tank, that could have been enough to fill 2 cars. We got the receipt and overall price was double what was estimate. All these separate fees tacked on, " base rate", taxable product/service, non taxable products, rental sale tax.. end up being double what was estimated!! Jesus, never again am I renting from Budget. ALL lies and deceit. Wish I can just dispute my CC but in the end, it's hard lesson learned.

GBPrepaid for rental but somehow it… Prepaid for rental but somehow it didn't show up in their system. Was charged again for the rental and then asked that I provide bank statement to receive a refund. When I picked up the rental at the airport, the rep offered a "free" upgrade. I was given a car that reeks of cigarettes smell. I exchanged it but they now charged full upgrade price. I don't write reviews but stay away.

TRExtremely poor customer service Never booking with Budget again. I was told I could travel to Austria from Switzerland with the car, and this was outlined in my contract. Budget issued me with a fine from the Austrian border authorities (plus their own additional expenses) because the car did not display the appropriate sticker to cross the border. Budget refused to take ownership and did not refund me, stating that it was my fault that the car had the incorrect sticker which makes no sense at all. Their customer service team were hopeless and just continued to reply with generic responses.

GBRented a car from Indianaoplis airport Budget here for a work trip Rented a car from here for a work trip. When returning to the airport I dropped the rental off, received my receipt after the person scanned the barcode of the car. Several days later received additional charges for well over $1,000.00. When I called up, they told me I haven't returned the car. I've now been dealing with their loss prevention people; four times I've called. The answer I keep getting is that, "We can't get a hold of anyone at the airport location." NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET
