GBCar Shield success! This time, when I called, it was more for information. Everyone with which I have spoken were wonderful! Information was quickly and curteously given. I felt valued and informed. My previous encounter was to rebuild a transmission. That went beautifully and my needs and situation was taken into consideration. At that time my husband was in the hospital so I was in a harder time than normal. They made it so easy. You have a fine company and your people are the backbone of your service. GBCar Tow Request A+++ My call to Carshield was answered by a very polite & cheerful customer service rep. He asked for details and quickly got to work finding a tow truck. I did decide to have him call back instead of stay on hold. He called me back soon after and had a tow scheduled for my car, which actually showed up 2 hours faster! FYI ~ This was a non emergency. This gentleman did his job efficiently and with a smile .. I could hear it!

GBAmerican Auto Shield is a good company American Auto Shield is a good company. Their extended warranty plans cover an enough to a lot. I have the $100 extended warranty plan. The positives – The app is informative, clear, and easy to use. Both of my claim’s worth around a total of $4,200. The negatives - Their wait times can be a little time and some of their customer service representatives can be somewhat dismissive. You may have to go through the “fire” to get a claim to be honored. This may include talker to higher-ups and filing a report to BBB. Overall, I appreciate this company for honoring my two claims.

GBDishonest I am disappointed as many repair shops in VA will not work with Car Shield. Car Shield doesn’t pay the listed price for labor as stated in the policy. They pay an estimated dollar amount based on US National Labor Guide which is very inaccurate leaving the customer with charges in addition to your copay.
