Very good performance and service. Best bang for your buck out there, and everything you could ask for in a hosted FTP solution. We've used Exavault for about three months now after researching our alternatives pretty extensively. The price and performance are what sold us on Exavault. The flexibility of the user interface with either browser and link based file sharing, or the traditional FTP/SFTP client approach fits our needs and works well for us and our customers both. The customer service is fast and friendly. You can't go wrong with Exavault.

I think these features are a must ... Access, Speed, Interface, Cost, A/C & Billing - -> Very Good Currently I can assign only a root directory with ALL sub-folders to a user. I expect unix like directories permissions to users. (Idon't want all sub-folders access for a user) Also some friction in selecting user names, it says some new names are already in use. Really Good, minor changes would make it perfect We're finding ExaVault really convenient as a landing place for telemetered data-logger data and conveniently, securely sharing this data with various customers. I especially like our ability to have our brand on the page. One thing that I wish you could do is retrospectively change/divide the access permissions for folders/sub-folders that have already been created. We made a number of folders under a main folder only to find that we couldn't modify access permissions in the way we desired. We ended up having to create multiple new root folders and allocate/restrict access that way. Some of this hinged on the need to program our data-loggers to drop the data in a specified folder. Not a biggie but slightly less convenient than we thought it would be.

My data is safe and stored online vs on a drive at my office or house. If something goes wrong I always know I have my copy with them as a backup no matter what. All in all a great service - been using them for a couple of yrs now and have no complaints. This service is simple and straight forward. Hassle-free SFTP and FTP software as a service The point of SaaS is that the service provider worries about the details, so you don't have to, and ExaVault does a good job of that. ExaVault is a turnkey service that requires no technical knowledge to use. I've used it for a couple of years now, setting up SFTP accounts for hundreds of my customers, and it's been convenient and reliable. I find the price reasonable. There's been only one period of downtime, lasting a few hours. Creating and managing users and folders through the web-based portal is easy. Users have been able to connect using FTP and SFTP clients without any trouble. If you have an time-sensitive tech support need, be sure to send it to the email address designated for urgent requests. Requests via phone or website may wait for days. Once I get through to the right support department, they're always courteous and responsive. The good news is I've only needed to contact support three times in two years. Mostly, the service just works! I would recommend ExaVault to anyone who needs an FTP or SFTP server and doesn't want to deal with managing their own hardware and software.
