Don't do it. From day one, customer support has been lousy. A typical response takes days, sometimes longer. At first, the service was fine, but now the servers are down frequently. In fact, the servers have currently been down for 3 days, which prompted me to write this review. I have heard very little from Rootpal with an explanation or update.

Nextcloud is amazing As I was looking into a Nextcloud solution for a while, I purchased Tier 1 on AppSumo. I started by migrating my WordPress website first though. There were some issues accessing the site after that, but these were solved rather quickly by the Rootpal Support team. Now I am gradually setting up my Nextcloud instance. At first, the instance was slow to non-responsive but this was again solved in a timely way by the Support guys. I haven`t explored all possibilities yet, but I am quite satisfied that I obtained this deal.

Good hosting for cheap This is a great hosting service. It's fast, reliable, and the customer service is great. The customer service reps in the chat will help you with the more basic service features, and if they don't know something (such as how to allow VPN traffic for example) they will refer you to creating a ticket. While their ticket service is a bit slower than I'd want they do a fantastic job and have answered my questions flawlessly. In some instances they have done the site improvements themselves for the questions I've asked.
