GBMotorola / Digital River - hmmm - No! Trying to order a Motorola Mobile Phone on their Website which is operated by Digital River. I’ve had my basket in abeyance for a couple of days and on two occasions I’ve looked at it, additional items have appeared - not added by me. There’s something very strange about this lot and numerous warnings from folk saying “do not buy a Motorola phone via their website operated by Digital River. I can see why!! I think I’ve dodged a bullet and will take my money elsewhere. Hello Samsung 😊. I’d really like a Motorola Razr 40 Ultra but not via Digital River!

AUFrom a $2.99 (supposedly free)photo software, to $59.99us monthly subscription, Canceling V/difficult I went from a supposedly free trial, to a charge of $2.99 for a photo software enhancer. Then suddenly charged monthly a fee of $59.99US by Digital Rivers. When I tried to unsubscribe from the software, it was hard to do through the Digital Rivers commerce sight. So I canceled through PayPal and requested a partial refund. Then I noticed another carrier had slipped into my Pay Pal account asking for same amount? I canceled that too. Looking at others feedback, it would seem they are scamming others too. I saw they made $300+ million last year! BEWARE of any subscription that links back to digital river inc. and their partners.

GBBe very carful if using this company as… The "auto-renewal" feature is something to be avoided. Auto-renewal not something I was expecting to come across as most companies are now well aware that buyers of good/services see this as a fraudulent practice. I did manage to cancel my subscription but it took time to get back into my account. Be wary of any company that uses auto-renewals, they are really hoping you forget to cancel and so keep taking your money each month. Remember, "ethical" companies don't use "iffy" practices.
