AUI made a subscription to watch karate… I made a subscription to watch karate videos through Vimeo. In January 2024, I attempted to watch the videos and in attempting to do so, it said that my subscription had expired. What I didn’t realise was that Vimeo was continuing to take payments out of my account every month even though I couldn’t watch the videos. It is very difficult to contact Vimeo apart from speaking to a robot. I am still trying to sort out the problem.

GBNot a good YouTube alternative to turn to. With the recent decline in YouTube (ads galore, censorship, banning ad blockers, etc.) there's not a whole lot of video hosting websites that can compete with JokeTube. Vimeo certainly isn't helping the situation. My experience with this website is beyond awful. Absolute joke of customer support. The "employees" of Vimeo don't even bother, so they give AI-programmed bots to cover up all your problems. You sign up for the website only to be charged monthly for no reason. Did I mention there's almost no way to delete your account? If you're looking for a YouTube alternative, do not join Vimeo. There's a few more GreedTube alternatives that are much better than this. Vimeo is not the one you must turn to. Even if it's the last website in the world, don't join it.

SEVimeo stopped accepting my payment information Vimeo stopped accepting my payment information (both card and PayPal) for no reason at all since I've been able to pay for VOD's for years with the same information. It does not work, even if I create a new account or test a new browser. The payment information works on every other website/vendor. The quality of the service has gone down significantly just these last few months. I hope that editors and video creators look for another platform to post content.

FIREAD THIS BEFORE USE ANY VIMEO… READ THIS BEFORE USE ANY VIMEO SERVICES!!! The only thing I've ever ordered from Vimeo is a monthly fee of 10 euros per month for viewing rights! The service is very unclear, I don't have a valid subscription anymore and still a monthly payment has been sent to my account. In order to end my "subscription" I had to go to the vimeo website, but I could only get to the mobile application, where you can't see the billing information. At this point I contacted customer service by email to get the billing to stop. The next morning, 119.04 euros had left my bank account! When I finally got to vimeo's website on my computer, a year's subscription appeared there and the end date of the one-week trial period was the previous day when I contacted customer service about unnecessary invoices... VIMEO PRACTICALLY ROBBED ME LEGALLY! I have sent numerous emails and read all the terms and conditions and notified to get my money back, still no response. I have 30 euros left in my account, which is enough for about 3 meals here in Finland and I have 3 children to feed. COMPLETE SCAM, I would give minus stars on trustpilot if I could!!!

CATerrible site and even worse customer… Terrible site and even worse customer service. I am not a fan of Youtube and it's business practices, but vimeo is just pure garbage. Uploads fail after taking forever. Videos get removed without notice for bogus reasons. You could post a video of a butterfly in the air and it might get removed for violating their terms on posting about elections. And good luck trying to appeal anything, even their auto-responding bots are condescending jerks.
