Nice Presentation but Not a Great Value Packaging was very nice and items were well presented. This subscription did not wow me, mostly because I do not ever use dot grid or grid notebooks. It would be nice if the subscription could be somewhat customizable, with the opportunity to choose types of notebooks or journals. Because there were many things I didn’t use, the subscription wasn’t a good value for me.

Great service from HWE Great service from HWE. Who else wraps your notebooks in plain paper, hand-ties it with twine, then places the whole kit and kaboodle in a well-padded shipping envelope? Love the personal touch!

Paid shipping and no customer service reply The site said my order was eligible for free shipping but kept adding it in the cart. I contacted them but never received a response. The reason I went through with the purchase anyway is because they had a limited amount of discontinued notebooks I wanted on sale.

I was incredibly pleased with my order! I was incredibly pleased with my experience ordering some Gelato water color kits! I was on the hunt looking for some specific colors, and found them at HWE Stationery! Not only was all the communication prompt and professional, but when I received my purchase it was well packaged! I was pleased to open the open box and see my art supplies wrapped in kraft paper and tied together with cute cotton twine. (And perfect timing, I was able to reuse the wrapping for a co-worker's birthday present! Reuse!) Thank you!

I happened upon HWE when looking for a… I happened upon HWE when looking for a specific brand of stationery. HWE carried a complete line, and I encountered none of the "out of stock" messages that I experienced elsewhere. My order was expeditiously prepared and arrived wrapped in lovely handmade paper. I bookmarked this site and will return to explore more possibilities--and to replenish the items I just got.
