A worker hit me on my leg with the draw I went into an estee lauder concecession to buy a foundation. Not a single advisor acknowledged or offered to help. Upon scanning for a colour on my own, a lady who worked there opened the drawer and hit me on my leg with it. She didn't even apologise so I left the store. I called customer service and spoke to the in store experience team. All they offered me was an apology gift and they couldn't confirm what would be in it. I asked for a voucher to cover the cost of something I actually wanted to use and they refused. Very unhappy.

Personalised consultation I visited Boots in Woking, Surrey , today and had excellent customer service from the consultant Patsy Gill. She has worked for Estée Lauder for so many years and I worked with her 25 years ago . She colour matched me with the perfect foundation and as well as that I bought the night repair serum . A lovely experience from a dedicated beauty consultant.

Do not buy this product! I recently purchased Estée Lauder’s sample of night rejuvenating serum for face and the eye cream, also the small concentrate and toner. It came packaged together as a bundle from Christmas. While this wasn’t really what I was looking for at the counter, I took it, as it was recommended to me based on the fact I have sensitive skin and was looking for a good moisturiser and a better skin regime. I started this on the Friday night, it burnt my face. It Isn’t unusual for my skin to react like this first time so I didn’t think much of it but the morning after, my eyes were swollen and my cheeks were puffy with red blotchy patches. Because I had stayed away at a hotel when I bought this product, I wasn’t sure if it was because of hotel sheets etc so I used it a second time. My symptoms got worse. My skin is now so dry and sore from forehead to chin with a red chemical burn that is rough and dry. It itches and it stings and it’s sore like a burn. I stupidly didn’t research this product like I usually do, because I’ve used other products from Estée Lauder and they were fine. This product is absolutely awful and I have read so many reviews reporting the same thing. I am concerned that with so many bad reviews, why is it still available! It clearly doesn’t suit all skin types and isn’t for everyone. My advice is to avoid at all costs as I now need to go to the GP because on day 4 my skin is so sore I can’t moisturise it enough to sooth it. Do not buy it. Edit (11/04/2024) I have tried to email Estée Lauder on the email provided below in their comment. Unfortunately I have received this counter back and therefore I don’t believe I am able to contact them. Estée Lauder please can you send an email that works. Loyalty program t&cs make it a pointless endeavour. Buy from Boots and get points. FAO: Estee Lauder I already spoke to someone before writing my review. Look at how bad your rating is and maybe, I don’t know, improve? I love the double wear foundation, but the loyalty program is a bit of a farce. Yes I should have read the terms and conditions in full, but who’d have thought you spend all that money to be granted a birthday gift, only for there to be conditions, it’s a birthday gift, if you’re going to do those things fairly it should be complimentary in addition to any pre-existing offers. Because of the ‘only one offer per order’ rubbish, I managed to jump right through ‘be enthusiastic’ to ‘be envied’ and I can’t access either full sized products because there’s an automatic 25% off. If I even could I would have to choose either/or full size offer, even though I’ve spent enough to qualify for both. It seems pointless to have loyalty programmes if it’s near impossible to qualify and to claim your gifts. I won’t be buying directly again and I genuinely wish I had bought what I needed from Boots because atleast I’d have earned points with my order. The loyalty programme lures you in but has no intentions of following through because rubbish t&c’s

Awful consultation Awful. Really wanted to buy the double wear sheer foundation but the counter staff in john lewis solihull didn't understand basic requests such as, will it suit menopausal skin. Think she found it quite funny when I explained my hot flushes and my concerns about durability throughout the day. Message. Estee Lauder .......don't let younger employees make older customers feel unimportant and that they are wasting their time
