Completely inefficient The customer service from the office was great, but the actual movers were not. From the minute they arrived at our 2 bed, 2 bath apartment they were annoyed with the amount of things we had. We have a normal amount of furniture for a 2 bedroom NYC apartment, certainly not an 8 bedroom house. Their truck was too small to fit everything because they came with a truck to fit a studio/1 bedroom apartment, resulting in a move that took them from 9am-11pm on move day and then another few hours 3 days later to pick up the remaining items. They worked slowly and inefficiently resulting in my fiancée and I having to help load and unload the truck with them, despite us paying for the move, to expedite it. Not only was the move a disaster, but they broke a lamp and chipped bedside tables and two of our dressers. They were sloppy and careless. This was absolutely the worst move I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend.

Good service The movers were fast and efficient, although they arrived 1 hours later than expected. They complained about an unexpected flight of stairs et some extra and started contesting the estimate although I had been told that it was a flat rate based on cubic meter and not the number of boxes or pieces. I chose the self packing steps, they were careful in packing the bed and furniture. Overall good experience, but never pleasant to feel like you need to renegotiate or bargain, or be forced to tip extra ...

Very good movers The movers were very professional but friendly and had a positive attitude. Nothing broke but a modern acrylic table was deeply scratched on the side. It is obvious that this piece was not wrapped or maybe it was but it got damaged as it was being taken out of the van. Other than this, thus was a very good moving team. They work very well together and I will hire again.

Great Company We utilized this moving company when moving my son in New York City. The representative I dealt with was Mike. Mike was wonderful in making this difficult and complicated move easy. This move consisted of moving my son out of his apartment into storage for several weeks and then moving him into another apartment. We were very pleased with this service. Will break your things and refuse to pay damages Hired Simply Moving to pack and move the contents of my apartment on 8/31/2021. Movers "packed" empty boxes (full of only packing paper), plus other large boxes filled with single small items (i.e. a single disposable face mask). Simply Moving refuses to refund us for this or acknowledge their fraudulent actions. Simply Moving damaged several pieces of furniture (including a custom built, solid wood dresser that will cost $1400 to replace; a $600 dining table; a $600 lamp; five one of a kind ceramic pieces of art each costing around $500 to replace; plus several plates and other smaller items). Total damages exceed $5100, plus the ~$1200 moving fees. They packed things so poorly that one box was leaking. When I opened it I found a half full box of toiletries that were just thrown into the box - some of which had opened. At the bottom of the box were 3 pairs of prescription eyeglasses.
