Customers Since: 2017 I just wanted to give a big thank you to the Advantage Lumber Sales team and a huge thanks to Edgar for helping us through this process. We've been a customer for years now and whats really helped that I've noticed is there customer service. Being able to work one on one with your vendor that places customer service at the front just makes everything at Advantage Lumber a smooth process and a store that stays true there word. As mentioned down below, we had issues with the material and Advantage Lumber sent out an employee, Edgar, to look at the deck and survey. I would like to share my thanks to Advantage for sending an expert and Edgar for assessing the area and answering all the questions we had. I appreciate you getting the process going and approved to be able to start the rebuild. Thank you for staying true to your word, we were able to get all needed material so the warp/break does not occur again. We opted in getting the 5/4x6 Cumaru to avoid an future issue that would cause warping or breaking of any sort. On top of the full length of cumaru needed we will be getting the wood plugs and top varnish. (Back-Story) -This past July of 2023 we placed in order for Cumaru Decking of 1,800' LF and were recommended by our sales rep to go for the 1x6 PLUS material. We had doubts on the thickness since we always purchase 5/4x6, we were assured that it wouldn't be an issue. It would later be installed and within a few months of installation the deck lifted and started to warp. We were told if issues arose that it could be sorted out and fixed at a later time. - Again thank you for making the process of getting an issue resolved from start to finish. Defiantly will be sharing my story to others of why choose Advantage Lumber! Best Customer Service on the west coast.

I needed about 8 pieces of lumber to … I needed about 8 pieces of lumber to complete some window sills and trim. The pieces need to be shipped LTL as they exceeded length and weight maximums for the parcel carriers. My schedule had me going in and out of town so delivery scheduling was critical so that I could accept the LTL shipments. Although we had to turn the shipment around once and try again, things worked out great. The multiple peices were well packed in two units and were not damaged in shipment. I can complete my project. Poor morals and integrity. Ordered siding for my house and had it delivered. Upon delivery some of the boards were damaged which was fine, it happens. Could have easily been avoided by paying more attention to how they package and ship the items, and adding a little protection to the product of wood materials rather than some saran wrap. I refused the order due to damages and in the end I had to pay for return shipping as well (about $165) and a %20 restocking fee. They charged me $200 due to their poor packaging. I read similar reviews. It's apparent they do not care because profit is made when restocking. Response time to my calls and emails was pathetic. What a coincidence they were away on vacation in October, a popular time of the year but never responded to my 2nd email following his apology (must have went back on vacation).

Modular Ipe Wood Tiles Re; Ipe Wood Tiles 24" and 20" Positive: Great Product and great Staff! Not so Positive: my suggestion is to double check the trimming closeness of the subsurface battens in the ipe tiles so that when assembled the gaps are consistant from tile to tile. Some tile battens were not trimmed flush to the edge of the ipe planks and thus threw-off the alignment (gap) between some of the modules. This is an issue that can be corrected through the quality control/inspection process. Thanks, Marc
