GBPoor communication, damaged shipment, wrong shipment.....and no refunds Our order was damaged when we received it. We managed to work with what we had but nothing was refunded or replaced..not even an offer to. We then ordered specific pieces which took weeks to get and held up construction, only to find out that they sent the wrong ones, then they lost pieces...it was a total debacle. This went on for months until we finally gave up and decided to figure it out ourselves. Nothing again was refunded or even offered. Although I thought we spent a lot, I guess unless you are a commercial business with huge orders, you do not matter to them and I would look elsewhere.

GBI needed about 8 pieces of lumber to … I needed about 8 pieces of lumber to complete some window sills and trim. The pieces need to be shipped LTL as they exceeded length and weight maximums for the parcel carriers. My schedule had me going in and out of town so delivery scheduling was critical so that I could accept the LTL shipments. Although we had to turn the shipment around once and try again, things worked out great. The multiple peices were well packed in two units and were not damaged in shipment. I can complete my project. Thank you Asia, the rest of Advantage Lumber team, ABF Motor Freight, and Basse Truck Lines out of San Antonio.

GBI thought this was going to be a good…but it. Was the worst!!! I thought this was going to be a good experience. They shipped my order too early, and then had it sit in a warehouse in Jacksonville for over 6 weeks. When they finally shipped it to my house, my installer said it was dry, warped, discolored, and in such bad shape he would not accept the delivery. It was sent back to Advantage and they charged me 7000 dollars for shipping and restocking. I am disputing this amount with my credit card company, American Express. I would not use them and if you want to call me I will share my experience with you. 305-803-7528.

GBFrustration over lack of communication with Advantage I ordered two types of decking from Advantage on July 4. Since then a situation has arisen due to a miscommunication that has been a huge pain. I emailed Advantage on July 6 about adding wood to my order and was told they were out of it. But it wasn't explained that MY WOOD was out of stock. After not receiving the decking material for a few weeks I spoke with two different reps who assured me they were looking into the situation. Ultimately I was told that Advantage was out of the wood available to fulfill my order. But the lack of communication has been very frustrating. And I had to do the leg work myself to find out anything. Given the situation I hoped the company would simply send the wood from another location but because of free shipping on my order they will not.

GBHats off, Attaboy, Cheers Bill Cummings at Advantage Lumber worked with me to select an awesome piece of tigerwood for a project for my granddaughter. Bill coordinated with Chico at the Buffalo Mill and hand picked a beautiful select piece of tigerwood for my needs. Bill and Chico even sent a photo of the piece and I can't wait to start working on it. I could not ask for better customer service and communication, not to mention super fast shipping and bulletproof packaging. Thank you and hats off to Bill and Chico Sincerely, John Winchester. Wi
