A very nice purchasing experience I found an inventory reduction deal listed and called in to see if I could inspect the "B" grade product I was interested in and received a very positive response. The sales rep Bill Cummings was very personable when showed me the material I was interested in. After I made the purchase, Bill discovered a discrepancy with the batch of material, but he quickly recovered with the help of his Team. Overall, Bill made the purchase experience very pleasant. At pickup time, the personnel that helped me load and secure the material on my trailer were very knowledgeable and helpful. From the reception to the material loading, overall this was a very pleasant experience. Thank you, to Team Advantage Lumber in Grover, NC

Update! Cumaru Deck Replacement Process Company Name: G&A Fine WoodWorking Interiors, Inc. Customers Since: 2017 I just wanted to give a big thank you to the Advantage Lumber Sales team and a huge thanks to Edgar for helping us through this process. We've been a customer for years now and whats really helped that I've noticed is there customer service. Being able to work one on one with your vendor that places customer service at the front just makes everything at Advantage Lumber a smooth process and a store that stays true there word. As mentioned down below, we had issues with the material and Advantage Lumber sent out an employee, Edgar, to look at the deck and survey. I would like to share my thanks to Advantage for sending an expert and Edgar for assessing the area and answering all the questions we had. I appreciate you getting the process going and approved to be able to start the rebuild. Thank you for staying true to your word, we were able to get all needed material so the warp/break does not occur again. We opted in getting the 5/4x6 Cumaru to avoid an future issue that would cause warping or breaking of any sort. On top of the full length of cumaru needed we will be getting the wood plugs and top varnish. (Back-Story) -This past July of 2023 we placed in order for Cumaru Decking of 1,800' LF and were recommended by our sales rep to go for the 1x6 PLUS material. We had doubts on the thickness since we always purchase 5/4x6, we were assured that it wouldn't be an issue. It would later be installed and within a few months of installation the deck lifted and started to warp. We were told if issues arose that it could be sorted out and fixed at a later time. - Again thank you for making the process of getting an issue resolved from start to finish. Defiantly will be sharing my story to others of why choose Advantage Lumber! Best Customer Service on the west coast.

Poor communication, damaged shipment, wrong shipment.....and no refunds Our order was damaged when we received it. We managed to work with what we had but nothing was refunded or replaced..not even an offer to. We then ordered specific pieces which took weeks to get and held up construction, only to find out that they sent the wrong ones, then they lost pieces...it was a total debacle. This went on for months until we finally gave up and decided to figure it out ourselves. Nothing again was refunded or even offered. Although I thought we spent a lot, I guess unless you are a commercial business with huge orders, you do not matter to them and I would look elsewhere.

Frustration over lack of communication with Advantage I ordered two types of decking from Advantage on July 4. Since then a situation has arisen due to a miscommunication that has been a huge pain. I emailed Advantage on July 6 about adding wood to my order and was told they were out of it. But it wasn't explained that MY WOOD was out of stock. After not receiving the decking material for a few weeks I spoke with two different reps who assured me they were looking into the situation. Ultimately I was told that Advantage was out of the wood available to fulfill my order. But the lack of communication has been very frustrating. And I had to do the leg work myself to find out anything. Given the situation I hoped the company would simply send the wood from another location but because of free shipping on my order they will not.
