GBI've purchased 3 rise gardens and a ton… I've purchased 3 rise gardens and a ton of seed pods within a two week period. Other than the gardens themselves being a bit pricy, I am very pleased with the overall experience. Everything shipped faster than anticipated. Everything works as expected. Some of the documentation has minor grammatical errors which can cause confusion for a newbie gardener like myself but I am thankful that they include documents with tips and guidance. I've personally worked for many start-ups and I am really surprised by the level of detail wether it's user guides, barcodes for easy setup or the graphics which are unique to each set of seeds/pods. So far I really like RG as a brand. From an NPS perspective I would definitely be a promoter (so far)

GBI've purchased two full-sized gardens… I've purchased two full-sized gardens from Rise (one in early 2020 and the second later in the year), as well as various supplies and products. Whenever I've had an issue with anything, be it a garden or order, they've been very communicative and helpful. Rise genuinely cares about their products and company, and I appreciate it!

GBLove the RiseGarden and the app! I love my RiseGarden and their app was one of the reasons for my purchase, not to mention the sleek design of the Triple Family Garden. Having the app takes care of everything from when to clean the system and / or add nutrients. As well, there helpful videos should you not understand something are an added bonus and the customer support is outstanding!

GBOrdered a month before Christmas due to… Ordered a month before Christmas due to them having in bold letters that it would arrive well before Christmas. I followed up several times about them not shipping the main unit and got generic "just wait" emails. Note the item wasn't lost in shipping; it was never sent. No real investigation was done till after Christmas at which point I was offered "$25 off a future order" and still didn't have the main unit. Now, I have to lose $150 to return an incomplete and completely non-functioning order over a month later.

GBGamble, but be prepared to lose. Text of our BBB complaint: After 3 years of researching to find the best home hydroponic growing system, we settled on Rise Gardens. They have a very active social media presence and a flashy website announcing a big 20% off sale almost constantly. While navigating their website, we accidentally hit submit on an order for a smaller garden than intended. Customer service was contacted IMMEDIATELY and the order was noted as cancelled. We then submitted the correct order. Nothing whatsoever is indicated about backorders or unavailability, and the social media ads remain relentless as if this thing is available. Soon after, we receive a shipment of the items from that first, officially cancelled order. A simple mistake- we are reasonable- but then began our issues. It took over a week to get a return label for that item. There is NO phone number to call (an internet search eventually yields a number that goes direct to voicemail) and what seems like foreign customer service (chat-based) could not seem to get us a return label without days of us hassling them. Finally we got a label and Fed Ex picked up the incorrect order. Since then we have been waiting for our actual order with no communication about it unless we pester the chat customer service...our order was placed on 2/19, again with NO MENTION of a delay or a backorder. As reasonable people, we are understanding about anything as long as there is communication. We've been told "in a week or two" a couple times...meanwhile they have our money- around $1500. This is clearly an issue for other customers as there have been some quite hearty discussions going on in the Rise Gardens Facebook community within the past week about this. People are all having the same issue as us- waiting for paid orders for months and having little to no communication. We feel fleeced. It's not the delay, it's that the company has said NOTHING publicly about delays after appearing to have plenty of stock. This is shady at best, fraudulent at worst. Unacceptable. They are deleting Instagram comments about this issue, btw. What a complete and total disappointment. Finally got most of our refund- will be giving our business to Gardyn instead. This does not bode well for company longevity, getting parts, etc.
