He understood and advised immediately on the issues I had. Not often I make these kind of missives but felt the need to as I find these days the level of response they provided is rare. ie. GBWe’ve had two Matki showers installed… We’ve had two Matki showers installed over a eight year period and both have leaked in the same place…the first one caused considerable damage to the underfloor area. The second one has now started leaking thru the grout in the tiling adjacent to the shower right hand pillar. Everything is sealed in the area but it still leaks…I’ve now got to find a installer who will look at the problem…the original installer is no longer around. Please help Matki

GBMatki corner shower, roller assembly unfit for purpose Matki Colonade corner shower unit. Fitted some years ago but has had little use as in spare room en-suite. Not for the first time the PLASTIC blocks which are the top roller assembly have failed. There is little support to the wheels which have sheared off. Obviously poor design and not fit for purpose. Yes! Matki say they will supply 2 x replacements …. for….wait for it……£130.73 inc.vat !!! 2 Small plastic blocks and four plastic wheels, daylight robbery. As it happens we have two main bathrooms about to be refurbished, in view of this poor response from Matki it is plain we will not be considering Matki!! Terrible after sales!

GBReally good and useful installation and post-installation sort-out service I recently installed a Matki shower enclosure but found the door wasn’t closing properly. Matki offer a service whereby they will send out one of their own engineers to sort out installation problems or replace ageing parts. My daughter - who also has a Matki shower - had successfully used this service so I arranged an appointment. The engineer - Andy Bateman - was excellent. It turned out the problem was a faulty part, which he replaced under warranty. Having this service available is a huge benefit of choosing Matki showers
